My mom is at ElderHealth & Living. It's very clean, very organized, and very well maintained. The staff has been excellent. My mom has a twin-sized hospital bed. She has a roommate, and the room is pretty large. We were able to put her belongings on the wall like photos and paintings and things that she likes. They have a nice kitchen. There are multiple tables, and they sit them accordingly. My mom has severe dementia, and she can be pretty combative and angry, but I know that she has coloring books, and there's a grassy area outside that is covered that she likes to go outside when we visit. But as far as other activities, I have no idea and she doesn't participate. I would say it's an excellent place. It's very expensive, but we're in the process of getting my mom qualified for Medicaid. It's pricey, but it's excellent care.

ElderHealth & Living has several homes for 10 or 12 people that are all secure with a homey environment. I was very impressed overall with the staff and the facilities. Each home had landscaping and plants and was set up just like a home with a living room and a backyard. There were several separate homes that can host different levels of needs. The only downside is that they were a little bit more expensive. Other than that, they would definitely be my first choice.
