Mom loved her apartment. It was the perfect size. The meals were very good, so much better than the facility we had been to the year before. When she was in assistant living there were so many activities, it was wonderful! After she moved to memory care she still did some activities but didn't feel like doing as much as before, but they were still offered.

My parents moved into Legend at Mingo Road a month ago. They love it and they're enjoying it there. The facility is great. The people that work there are phenomenal. I'm very impressed with the amount of care that they give the residents there. My parents have a pretty big apartment with a big bedroom and a huge bathroom. It has a kitchen area, a living room area, and a patio. So, it's nice. I know they're always doing activities. After breakfast, they always do some exercises. They have different areas where they do parties, play bingo, and do arts and crafts. They have a beauty salon, a laundry area, and a big common area. Their food is really good and my parents enjoy it.

Legend at Mingo Road is beautiful and very clean. Everything is very efficient and outstanding. The staff during the tour was very welcoming, very friendly, and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and very nice. What stood out were the open places for the people to gather. They had a very beautiful courtyard.

What I liked about Legend at Mingo Road is that it kind of had a look and feel of a hotel so it was very comfortable. I toured their assisted living and the facilities were nice. The rooms were large and provided microwaves and refrigerators. I thought that was nice. They also have gazebos and areas you can sit and relax outside which is nice too.

My uncle is at Legend at Mingo Road's memory care. I like the way it's set up. It looks more like an apartment when you walk in and not a nursing home. You have to furnish it but that's all right. It's just set up right for someone, with walk-in showers, which most of them have. I was just very pleased with how it was set up. The staff is attentive, he hasn't been there that long, but he's settling in. He goes and eats their meals every time. I think these places are pretty expensive, but you don't have a lot of choice if you've got to move someone into a memory center to protect them. You just have to pay what the going rate is. I wasn't unhappy with their rate, they have a better rate than some other places. Their amenities were nice.

My mom is at Legend at Mingo Road. It is exceptional and I am very happy. The staff is friendly. They go beyond what they need to do to make sure you're happy. They take care of every need that I've had when we've had it. We haven't had any problems whatsoever. And they made everything moving in really easy. I tried some of the food and that was pretty good, and my mother really likes it. I've eaten there once, and it was pretty good. She's going to go play bingo tonight. They have a therapy dog, ice cream social, cards, and TV watch groups. There is exercising two or three times a day. There are three or four activities, usually throughout the day, that they can participate in each day, but she hasn't been there long enough for me to tell you all that she utilizes. My mother's happy, so it's a good value. When I was looking around it's fair in price, actually, and when we got there they had some specials going, so it was even a little bit cheaper. It actually ended up being cheaper than the smaller unit would have been. We have not had a complaint, although we've only been there a little bit, but we've been dealing with them longer. They have a library, a salon, a TV, a bistro, puzzle room, and a couple outside areas they can go.

My very first visit to Legend at Mingo Road, everybody was just so friendly, and willing to help. They called in the head nurse and explained what they would or wouldn't do, and showed me the restaurant area. They were just a great bunch of people and informative. The food here is very good and you get quite a few choices. They have bingo, dominoes, puzzles, some word games, singalongs, and all kinds of activities throughout the day. The whole staff is very friendly. If you need a nurse or an aide come in, they're all there pretty quick.

The Legend at Mingo Road is a nice facility. It's my second choice due to the fact that they have very long hallways and my mom needs better accessibility getting from point A to point B. It's very clean and very neat though. We didn't try any of their food, so I have no idea what their food is like, but all their staff seemed to be very nice. The only reason I'm not giving them the highest rating is because of the layout. The only people that I actually met were the director and one of the RNs. As far as the structure goes, it was a very nice facility. The only thing that I didn't like, and I'm only going on accessibility for my mother, was the way the layout wasn't a good fit for her, as far as getting around by herself.

The salesperson at Legend at Mingo Road was very good. It just didn't seem to quite fit my mother. It was very nice, well kept, and had a lot of positives. I didn't see any problems with it. The staff was good and friendly. It was very clean, it was very well taken care of, and it had spaces for the residents to interact. They had two courtyards. The building looked traditional, but it was very nicely maintained. The rooms were fine but a little small compared to some of the others that we're looking at. They have memory care there.

My husband moved into Legend at Mingo Road. I chose Legend because they have a round-the-clock med aide and he needed medicines round-the-clock. It's a fairly small facility of only 50 residents. They have really the nicest apartments. It's all assisted living. The staff are really good. They're attentive and they answer questions quickly. The food is fabulous. They have a chef. The facility is perfect. It's a fairly new place. Everything is still top-of-the-line neat, clean, and beautiful. My husband has a door that opens up into a courtyard. It's closed so nobody else can get in except the residents. That was another reason why I chose them. I know they have good activities. I like that they could age in place. The value for money is very, very good. Very high value. Other places with the amenities and everything that he is getting would be 20-30% more. So it is a very good value.

My father stayed at Legend at Mingo Road. Everybody was nice, and they did what they were supposed to. The place looked good. He said the food was good. They had a fireplace and an aquarium. He had two rooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen, and it was very clean and nice. It's like the Hyatt Regency.

We're very pleased with Legend at Mingo Road. The staff seems very attentive. My wife's going through a very difficult time right now and they can't get there as often as she would like them to. I have a senior companion with her, so that's helping a great deal. The food is great. They have chair exercises and games, and she plays sometimes. It's a smaller facility, more intimate, it feels homier, the staff communicates, and gets along with one another.

Our visit with Legend at Mingo Road was very good. The person who showed us around was very good. We didn't sample any food. The facility itself looked very nice. The apartments weren't as large as the other ones, but they were a pretty good size. We looked at the one-bedroom apartments. They had some two-bedrooms where they put two one-bedroom apartments together. They also had studios.

The Legend looked very nice and felt that it would be a comfortable home to be in. They had plenty of activities, they took you shopping, and they had a guest coming in to perform. However, the rooms were not comparable to some of the nicer ones. The staff was very nice, the dining area looked very nice, they had a large menu, and it looked like they specialized in unusual diets. All you need to do is let them know how you needed to eat.

The staff is so rude, I did a tour and the lady Lisa or whatever was not a nice person. Someone should help her with professional skills. The RSD is not a candidate for position. My family and I put my dad at another assisted living.

Legend at Mingo Road was nice, but it reminded me of a hotel. It is for people wanting to be independent and for family that use to be in a hotel a lot. I like the memory portion they had. It’s a really nice place, but I liked the other one better. It’s clean, and the help was very nice. The memory care was carefully organized, and there were activities going on. It was pretty well sought out.

I went to Legend at Mingo Road. It looked very well-kept. It was an aesthetically pleasing, beautiful, manicured property. However, it is way high-priced. It is the highest price that I have ever seen. It is incredible how much they charge, but I don't think they had any better care than at the other facility.

Excellent, Top Notch facility. All of the staff are helpful, KIND and CARING, and are always looking out for the betterment of the Seniors who live there. We have used 2 other facilities in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area and this is, by far, the very best care given. The facility is always clean and the Food is also Excellent! Keep up the great work!

I did visit the Legend. In fact, that was my choice. My grandfather overrode my decision and picked the other place because he liked the food better there, that' why we picked that over the Legends. I just had a feeling about the other place and that's why it was my first choice. I felt like that's where I wanted to put my grandparents becauseI felt more comfortable there. Their staff seemed to be more aware of what was going on. They were top notch. It was immaculately clean. It was also very modern and up-to-date. The staff is on the ball. If they had served us lunch the day we went there, I think my grandfather would have preferred the Legend. The dining room was open, spacious and inviting. I think the rooms are too small, but for his needs it would've been very comfortable. I was very impressed.

Its a good place but the thought of talking to that rude receptionist makes things worse. I feel sorry for people who own this facility cause first impression matters a lot and that girl is chasing away people.
