This used to be a wonderful, caring place where you would know your loved one was being properly cared for, but the new owners have cut staffing so dramatically that it's going downhill rapidly. The number of aides available to help the residents has been cut dramatically and the quality of care has declined proportionately. The aides were, for the most part, wonderful and loving, but they're so short-staffed now, they're no longer able to offer the level of care they feel is sufficient, so many are looking for employment elsewhere. It breaks my heart to see this facility decline this way. I've had generations of loved ones here and the other facility in town is awful, so it's really gut wrenching.
