I had my husband at Harmony Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for respite care last year. I was satisfied with it. They took good care of him. By the time I came to pick him up, everybody just loved him to death. I was satisfied with the way they took care of him and their facilities. I could see that the staff cared about what they were doing in their job. They helped me with my husband. When I dropped him off, it was just rough for me to just walk away, so they kind of took him aside and put his mind on something else while I left. I appreciate it, they were really good. The day we went there, my husband got to have lunch, and it was very good. Everything looked and smelled good. He ate it, so I know it was good. The room he was in was kind of small for me, and he had to share a room with an individual because they didn't have any single rooms at that particular time. The room was okay, but I think it could have been a little bigger to accommodate two people. From what I saw, the residents sit around and watch television in the gathering room. I don't know if they had any other kind of activities for the residents, like little exercise classes or games and stuff like that. Other than that, I think they keep things pretty clean, and the grounds outside look nice. I didn't see anything that made me cringe.

Daughter-in-Law 101

My mother-in-law is in Greene Oaks Health Center. They’ve been great; she’s always clean and happy. They try to get her to mingle with other people and be a little more social and her care is very good. It looks clean; it’s up to date, lots of natural light.

Her stay went really well at Greene Oaks. They were nice and they really took good care of her. She said she they feed her well. She had no complaints. I called to check on her and she was fine while we were gone. Everything was fine and she did well up there.
