Heartland of Springfield was a very nice place, but they did not have a memory care unit. Mom was only there for two weeks and the therapy wing was very well kept, very clean, and orderly. The staff was just super. They were kind and patient and understanding of her needs. We had a really good experience there.

Heartland of Springfield is not a very good Nursing Home. My Father was there and did not receive good care . He was left in the same clothes for days and not washed up. He was not given the Therapy that he needed because they were too crowded. The nurses take for every to answer call lights. They do not have enough staff to run the Nursing Home. The rooms also smelled of urine. They also would clothes room doors and leave people for hours with not call light. Would not recommend it at all.

I have had a few issues with various issues regarding my mother who is a resident here but overall it passes most of my expectations. Would like a little more individualized care shown to my mother.....her room 'reeks' of urine a lot of the time, that DOES need to be takes care of immediately!

The facility staff seemed very pleasant and willing to help and answer any questions. The facility was clean and well kept, though the call lights seemed to stay on longer sometimes than they should.
