This is a horrible place. My aunt is there and we have found her bed so wet that it was dripping on the floor. She is down a long hall way and the wireless phone will not reach down the hall to be able to talk without horrible static. They don’t shower or clean her physically. With the Covid precautions you are not allowed to speak with your loved ones without a staff member standing over them. That’s a violation of privacy. We had to sit outside toward State Route 32 and couldn’t hear her talk. We haven’t been able to have a conversation since March with her. This place is horrible!!

My mother was pretty much forced into going to bativia. It's the worst care I have to say that my mother suffered there in just two weeks of being there. She has stage 2 wound care on her bottom, was found unresponsive by the dayshift nurse and had a heart attack and is in icu now trying to make a recovery. I often wonder how long did she lay in responsive, if they do 2 hour rounds I'm sure something didn't seem right. Also the day before while on her dialysis she went in to distress. Should of kept a closer watch on her. Her bottom is awful. I know there was no wounds on her bottom when she went there and to have stage 2 wounds in two weeks stands for something. I'm glad my mother is no longer going back there. Was able to get her in a better place of care. Just makes me really angery and upset that put trust in people and also lied to over the phone is even worse. I had called many times to check her and every time was told she was doing very well, high spirits, and making progress. My mothers carben deoxside was 90, sugar was 400, in need of two units of blood, stage 2 wounds on her bottom, uti, had a heart attack, and was un responsive, her hair had not once been brushed in two weeks of being there. It's a shame and needs attends to state and government and ohio health dep. there should be no reason our elders can not get the care they deserve. There is no excuses for it.

I have mixed feeling on this facility. On one hand , the facility was clean, the workers were helpful and caring for the most part.Over the duration of my grandfathers stay, there were some problem employees and sometimes problems weren't dealt with in a timely fashion. My biggest problem with the facility was when my grandfather fell and broke his hip, and then proceeded to have to wait 2 hours before being transported to the hospital which was right next door!! This was the worst thing about this place, on the good side they provided ample activities and a clean atmosphere. They did provide an patio area where residents could sit outside as well as an entertainment area for group activites and television.

This place is terrible! Administration says they will take action on complaints and never do. No communication between different shifts of staff so no one knows anything about the patients. Don't put your loved ones here.

This facility is not a place I would recommend. They do not have adequate staffing levels and the staff all seem uncaring and unresponsive to patients needs. This may be due to the understaff, but the turnover has been very high since the new ownership has been in place. Level of car is substandard.
