"Trinity Health Care Services has been a great value to Me, My Wife, and her Family. My Wife has a Grandmother currently residing there, and we visit her every week. The staff is very courteous and attentive to her needs; they go out of their way to make her Grandmother Feel Comfortable and at home. They have a printed activities list every week of the upcoming activities available for that week, and they always offer plenty of things for Her Grandmother to do, they also offer rehab services and hospice care, I would highly Recommend this facility for a loved one in need. "Logan Center is okay. It's clean and it seems like they have adequate activities for the residents who are still mobile and able to function to a certain level. They provide recreation and different activities for them, but I find the facilities a little bit depressing. They have a physician who takes care of the requirements of the residents, but she's somewhat lacking. There are too many residents and it's like she's just in it for the payday. The rooms are fine -- not fabulous -- but adequate."

"This facility is like most others of its ilk. High cost for low quality. The nursing staff of this and all nursing/post hospital care facilities are very much under-educated. The "nursing staff" are really just LPNs-9 month trained individuals with limited education. An LPN is a person who has gone to a technical school to learn HOW to do something but not why or what. LPNs have been entrusted to jobs that other healthcare staff are forced to have degrees for. The respiratory therapy services are practically non-exhistent, the therapist shows up in high heels, mini skirts, covered in cologne while she spends here time at the nurses desk socializing and telling tales of her "drinking" escapades. She is quite baldy in her speech. IF she shows up in your room it is to do nothing or to share infection. The doctors rarely show, patients are at the mercy of limited educated PAs. The staff have no quelms about telling you how wrong you are or just basically treating you like you do not exist. A call light is an indication for staff to run the other way. One of 20 people on the floor may have sympathy enough to answer a call light. LPNs have been turned loose to give medications, work with artificial airways, suction people, etc. I would never put a family member in any of these horrid facilities. I was there to visit a friend, his family is trying desperately to get him out. Many in the facilities are practically held hostage by the healthcare system and insurances. "

"My father got really sick, and I just didn't have the time to care for him because of working full time. I reserched several nursing homes around my area, so that my dad would be close to my house and be treated good. With all the research I did I finally decided on Golden Living Center. I think it's safe to say that my dad and I are very pleased with are decison. The Golden Living Center has very friendly staff that help my dad feel happy everyday. On my visits there dad always has a smile on his face, and the nurses always greet me as soon as they see me. My dad tells me that it's nice clean place to stay and he feels at home there. I love that they have private phone lines in the room, so if they do turn out to be mean my dad can call me. They also have televison in the rooms, so dad doesn't have to miss Green Acres show. They also have hair dressers at the Golden Living Center,so dad can get his hair cut whenever he needs it. Dad's made a lot of friends since living at the Living Center, and it helps me out a lot not having to worry about him while I'm at work. "

"The rehab team is excellent at this facility first of all! My mother was suffering from some major declines in her health recently and it took us all by surprise when she went from caring for herself daily to barely being able to lift her head from the bed. After being admitted to Dunbar Center for a short stay, Mom was back up on her feet in what seemed like no time. The staff was so warm and welcoming and really just like family after quickly getting to know most of the team. We would absolutely recommend care at Dunbar to anyone in need and Lord forbid will be return customers if life drives us that direction."

"My mother was moved to Stonerise Charleston for rehab. The facility is extremely nice. It's understaffed, but everywhere is understaffed at this point. There's just not enough staff to go around. She was in another skilled facility in Charleston previously, in comparison, this is more like an upscale hotel. She has her own private room, private TV, private bathroom, and it's all updated. It's a very nice facility. My mom had eaten the food and she's very picky. Right now because they're on lockdown, they're keeping them all in their rooms. The insurance is paying for the 20 days. Right now, no visitors are allowed and they're not doing any activities, they only let them eat in the dining room. As far as the communication, it's pretty poor. I have heard that they have a great outcome as far as their therapy and getting people back where they were. That was one of the main reasons why we chose to put her there."

"I want to thank the staff at Oakridge for the care they have given my Dad Jon “Pops” C. The staff has been amazing to my Dad and even us his family at times! If he can’t be home with us at least I know that he’s being well taken care of there. But the best part is Dad seems happy being there. That’s the most important part. "

"My mother is in Edgewood Summit. I like that community because it provided all forms of care. It has assisted living, memory care, and a skilled nursing facility as well. It's all right there. They have two levels of care above assisted living, and she's at the highest level of care. The quality of the food is excellent and they have a lot of different choices. They always have soup and different choices of salad. They always have protein or a main course, vegetables, and potatoes and you choose your type of potato. You choose everything. They have desserts and it's very good. I've eaten there a couple of times. We had a family dinner there and we had the fillet and it was excellent. They have an exercise class every morning. They have Sittercise, a cardio drum, and several different exercise classes. They had crafts, bingo, they have people come, musicians, and had a Kentucky Derby party and they all decorated hats for the Kentucky Derby. She also gets some cognitive therapy and some physical therapy and some occupational therapy privately. The staff is fabulous. They also do cornhole every day and they have singalongs and things like that. They have a church. They have a lot of different things going on. It is expensive."

"My mother spent the last 5 months of her life here and becsuse of her nurses and director Robin, I knew she was loved and cared for. When I dropped in a day early, my mothers room was neat as a pin, her family photo was by her befside, and she had matching clothes on It mattered little to her, but it does to me.Glasgow let us borrow her wheelchair for Mom's last outing, and they gave me supplies in case she needed them. I got updates frequently, and the nurses tried all they could to make her time there enjoyable. It did not feel like a hospital, but like a school.Familiar and not too big. I am so glad Mom was cared for by Glasgow Rehab."

"I recently spent several weeks in Genesis HealthCare Teays Valley Center after suffering a broken femur caused by a fall. I can unequivocally say that my treatment and care far exceeded expectations. A superb staff and therapists awaited me. They were attentive to my every need and encouraged me at every turn. When I made my first steps with a walker as my therapist guided me down the hallway, I was greeted by the staff with comments of "You go girl" and "Look at you go!". I felt as if I had just qualified for the Olympics! This kind of encouragement was invaluable. Thank you Genesis!"

"My mom stayed at Teays Valley Center. I thought the staff was very caring. For most nursing homes, they were understaffed, but the people that did take care of my mom were very caring and took good care of her. The meals were fine. I took a few bites of the food, and I thought it was very good. The rooms were a little old. They need to be updated. They were clean, and I was satisfied with that. My mom did some physical therapy. My mom's Medicare was paying for her."
