Logan Center is okay. It's clean and it seems like they have adequate activities for the residents who are still mobile and able to function to a certain level. They provide recreation and different activities for them, but I find the facilities a little bit depressing. They have a physician who takes care of the requirements of the residents, but she's somewhat lacking. There are too many residents and it's like she's just in it for the payday. The rooms are fine -- not fabulous -- but adequate.

At first glance, the Logan Center seemed clean, well maintained, and the staff seemed knowledgeable about the residents and their needs. Looking deeper revealed some issues, however. During my tour of the facility, I came upon one of the residents who was completely naked and wandering the halls. When I alerted the staff to this, they seemed uninterested or unable to deal with the situation, instead they tried to laugh it off saying, "Oh, that's just Mrs. So-and-so. She does that every night". If it is true, and that lady strips off all of her clothing and wanders the halls, the staff should take it upon themselves to rectify the situation in some manner. It is clear that the woman suffered from some sort of dementia, and I couldn't help but wonder if the staff would make jokes at my grandmother's expense once her disease reached that point. Because of the insensitivity shown by the staff, I could not and cannot recommend this facility in good conscious.
