My brother was very neglected while there. He was there for rehabilitation from an amputation, not to be stuck in a room and left there. He was never bathed or helped to bathe, his room was never cleaned, the commode was stopped up 4-5 days and up until he left. He had a bed sore never attended to. I seen patients from the nursing home section sitting out in the halls in wheelchairs slumped over, reeking of urine and on one visit, was left there for 4 hours!! My brother got to where he would ring for a bed pan ah hour before time just in case he needed it bc it took them as long as 90 minutes to answer his call light. At one point he was left on a bed pan for 30 minutes and it was stuck to his skin. I can’t tell you the things I witnessed and he told me about.

Stay away. For 4 days mom received no wound care, no phys therapy, left in wet diaper, and was discharged wearing pj top and diaper only. Unbelievable! Abuse reported to DHHS.

The facility was beautiful when I walked in the staff was nice and caring to me and my family. The staff answered all my questions promptly as they was giving us a tour of the facility. The patients looked nice from what I could see. I would recommend Marmet to other people.

My father, Virgil D., was a resident at this facility. It was a very emotional and scary ordeal for me to turn my Father over into someone else's care. From day one I felt at ease. The facility is very clean and nicely decorated. My father has passed away, but the relationships I built with the caregivers has lasted beyond his stay at the facility. As difficult as it was to have my father admitted to a facility, I know it was the right thing for his safety, and I know he couldnt have been in better hands.
