"The raliegh center genesis healthcare facility in daniels wv was very friendly when i came to visit my grandmother, the facility was very clean and up to date. They have daily activities for the residents to participate in and interact with the other residents and they also had special vistors come and visit the raleigh center residents such as religious speakers, singers and book buddies. All the residents seemed to have a pleasant demenor and were enjoy their stay "

"Both of my grandmothers were in the facility and I loved it and so did my grand parents. Once they got settled in things went real well. I could not get either one of them to leave once they were settled. They did not want to leave their new family. I visited them on at least 2 days a week.(mostly Saturdays)and was 95% of the time very happy with them. I give them an A+. "

"I am the son and my mother had to sign herself out today due to very neglectful treatment. My mother just had and recovering from severe heart attack,and is already in a wheelchair. She asked to use the phone and was told " go to conference room and get the phone herself,also was left on her bed pan for hours so long her back tailbone etc... Is bruised. This morning she was not offered breakfast or lunch and she is diabetic and has to eat regular times to help maintain blood sugar levels regulated. Finally she decided to sign herself out and we are going to search for a different place to help my mother recover. So I definitely agree the families who have suffered due to this facility needs to come together and file a class action lawsuit. It's sad my mom can't receive proper care at this critical time because we are searching for a new facility.I would definitely recommend go somewhere to seek help for a loved one. "

"My mom moved into Stonerise Lewisburg (Lewisburg Center) six weeks ago. I have been very, very pleased with the care that she's receiving. The only drawback is we have not been allowed to visit inside her room due to COVID restrictions. For the first couple of weeks, it was phone calls, more than one or two every day, so, yes, they've been very attentive and good. I was in her room when she was first admitted. It was not a quarantine hall, but the hallway where new patients come in, and it was, slightly a step up from a hospital room, but about the same. She's there for therapy, for a broken shoulder. The food is excellent. She has been thrilled, looking forward to it every day, and the staff that I've dealt with have been very nice and seemed very helpful. I tasted one, when she was first admitted, that was chicken and gravy and dressing and green beans and some type of dessert. It was very good. They have an activities director and they have three activities a day. They've had singings and I know she's attended a couple of get-togethers and do music and singing, I know they have some craft things that my mom has not been able to participate in until now. They have a library. They have exercise classes and church services."

"My mother is doing rehab at Beckley Healthcare Center. It's been OK. I've had to stay after them about doing certain things, but I think you have to do that in any facility. It's close to my home. It's only 20 minutes from where I live, so that makes it convenient for me to go in a lot and check on her. It seems like she's satisfied there. Her room is good. It's all one level and it's all convenient to get to. It has different wings and it's well taken care of. Just like every place now, it seems like they don't have enough care because they're shorthanded, but they do take good care of her. If she needs anything, we just have to ask and they'll get it. The staff is very friendly and very nice. Mom complains about the food, but it looks good to me. It looks well balanced, and it's food that she's used to. It's not fancy food. It's more like meat and potato type stuff. She has to have her meat minced, so it looks the same every time she gets it, whether it's ham or turkey or chicken. It looks like it's the same type of meat every time, but it does taste different. It's a good diet for them."

"Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea Wv felt like home to my family. My husbands' uncle was a resident there for many years; the staff treated him with dignity and respect. He had lost his sight but they filled his days with many different things to do. He especially liked the rainbow room (I think that was what it was called) where they did many activities like bingo and such. He enjoyed the food and they helped him to feed himself and he loved his fellow roommates and the other residents. The patio area out front was a nice place to visit him when weather allowed it. And once a year when the State Fair came to town, which is right next door many of the residents were able to go and see all the sights. Greenbrier Manor is a wonderful place that is clean & friendly. Our Uncle loved it there with all the attention he got from the staff. "
