"my friend of 46 years has been in there for over a year now and have been well taken care of bob is 94 and no complains.about the place.when the weather gets better were going to pick him up so he can get back on the golf course again and do 9 holes.but all and all he likes the staff and the place."

"Grove Manor is a nursing home with an assisted living side, which my friend has now relocated to. He wants to stay there because of the physical therapy team that is there. They are highly rated and renowned in the area for providing really good physical therapy services. It’s not really convenient for me, but for people who are living in the Mercer, Franklin, and Northern Lawrence County area, it would probably be fine, and it’s not hard to find either. He hates the food because it’s rather bland. The pricing is pretty good. The nurses are fine, the physical therapists are fine, and it’s a clean facility, but he just moved into the assisted living side and the air conditioner broke the first day. "

"My mother is in Quality Life Services in Grove City. It's kinda hard because I haven't been able to be there and I'm not allowed to visit, but they have been good to us. My mother has moved in on the Monday after Christmas. The staff is wonderful. It has been a lot more difficult on their end because there's a lot of things I would like to do for her, but I just can't because I'm not allowed in, so they have been going above and beyond to make her comfortable. She has an apartment, and she has a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a big walk-in closet, and her own bathroom. There are only three independent living apartments, the rest are assisted living, personal care or nursing home. They typically have activities, but right now, they're pretty much on lockdown. They're not doing much because they're afraid of getting Covid. My mother is not allowed to do anything until tomorrow because she has to be in quarantine for two weeks. Tomorrow is her first day out of quarantine. They're not having anything planned right now, but they have exercise and she can go down to the physical therapy room where there's exercise equipment and things like that. Once she does that, she could share with me what she's allowed to do. It's an older facility, but it is nice."

"Everything about Orchard Manor was excellent. It's very caring, they have lots of activities for the elderly people that live there, and they communicate to the families. They have a bus van, and they take those who are mobile out for lunch or to wherever there's something special going on. "

"The staff was very friendly and seemed to put the patients first. The facilities were very clean, and everyone was very helpful. Families seemed to be well accommodated as well. "

"The dishonestly of the staff is of poor quality! They are more worried about the bottom line (money) than services provided. After a short stay (one month) I will not ever deal with this facility again. "

"My father recuperated at Wesbury United Methodist Community rehab area. It was a very clean and very nice facility. The people there were all wonderful. I think that they were very friendly, caring, and very informative. He had a large room with one bed and a half bathroom that was very nice. At first, he didn’t like the food, but before he left, he was enjoying it. If he would have to go some place again, I think this is probably where we would choose to have him."

"We chose Embassy of Park Avenue because it's close to where I am and they have recently changed their staff and their name because the place it was before didn't have a good reputation. I think they're a little bit understaffed but I think that might be the problem with a lot of nursing homes. Some staff isn't as warm as others. My sister has some good nurses and aides, but some are not very personable. They have activities, but I don't think she participated. I know they do exercise. The facility is nice to look at from the outside and inside it's clean."

"Avalon Springs Nursing Center is located in Mercer, Pennsylvania. This is a wonderful nursing care facility and a blessing to its residents and their families. My great aunt was transferred to Avalon Springs after three years at another facility. While she only had the pleasure of living at Avalon Springs for the last few weeks of her life, this time made all the difference in her personality and outlook on life. The staff at Avalon Springs is fantastic. All of the employees are so kind to the residents and their families; residents are really taken in to be a part of the Avalon Springs family. Residents are treated with love and respect, which seems to be very rare in nursing care facilities. The nurses take special care of each resident, and take time to visit individually with residents and get to know them on a personal level. The aides are kind and considerate, and treat residents as though their own loved ones. I love Avalon Springs and would recommend the facility to anyone looking for a nursing home. If I was unable to take care of myself, I would want to become a part of Avalon Springs, because it truly is a home, and a family. "

"My mother is in Crawford County Care Center. You can visit in the foyer but you can't go to the room because of COVID, but they're getting better. You don't have to take a test now like when she first went in, so in that regard it's better. The facility is good, the people there seem friendly and helpful, and my mother is getting better about relaxing there now. It's a very nice facility, they've got outdoor sitting areas, they've got a library, and they have a store there where you can buy from your account. They have a lot of things to do there, they have exercises, they have live music in the evenings sometimes; it seems like there's quite a bit to do for her. I looked at a lot of places online, but this one was available, and we had to find one in a hurry; but so far, it has worked out good."

"My mother was a Resident at Countryside. I could not have been happier with her care. Everyone was kind, pleasant and cared from their heart. I would recommend Countryside to anyone. No odors, clean, pleasant atmosphere. Family caring for family. "
