Mom's only been there for 2 weeks and it's been a much smoother transition than I expected. The staff is so caring and helpful, the Director incredibly easy to get in touch with, her room is private and spacious and includes a kitchenette, and she keeps telling me about her delicious meals. When I had car trouble and couldn't make it there for her birthday, the residents had a signed card for her and sang to her. And that was two days after she moved in!! What an answer to all my prayers for me and Mom!

My dad stayed at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for rehab. It's an older facility. It's not updated a whole lot. They're understaffed, which is hard. It's more for people who can't do anything for themselves. The people were nice, but they were very overworked and understaffed. The upkeep is good, but it's a very dated facility. My dad didn't like it because he didn't have his own room. They don't have a single room there. You have to share a room. He didn't care for that. They have activities there. They have a big area where everybody can go in. They do activities like bingo and crafts, but my dad wasn't too interested in it. It was too expensive there.

The staff was very friendly and seemed to put the patients first. The facilities were very clean, and everyone was very helpful. Families seemed to be well accommodated as well.
