"Saint Paul Homes is unusual in the sense that when you move in there at any given time, if your condition worsens, you are guaranteed a room in whatever facility you need. That's how they handle their patients there. I believe the patients will be given a wrist bracelet that will set off an alarm if they try to go out the door. The staff was very helpful, took the time with me, and the building itself is absolutely beautiful. My father is going to a private room, but it's small, only 300 sq. ft. It looks brand-new, with a nice spacious bathroom, and all brand-new features. They had a lot of outdoor gardens, and they were accessible to all the patients. Very beautiful. They are supposed to transport him to different appointments. They did walk me by an exercise room, complete with all the equipment."

"My mother is in Quality Life Services in Grove City. It's kinda hard because I haven't been able to be there and I'm not allowed to visit, but they have been good to us. My mother has moved in on the Monday after Christmas. The staff is wonderful. It has been a lot more difficult on their end because there's a lot of things I would like to do for her, but I just can't because I'm not allowed in, so they have been going above and beyond to make her comfortable. She has an apartment, and she has a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a big walk-in closet, and her own bathroom. There are only three independent living apartments, the rest are assisted living, personal care or nursing home. They typically have activities, but right now, they're pretty much on lockdown. They're not doing much because they're afraid of getting Covid. My mother is not allowed to do anything until tomorrow because she has to be in quarantine for two weeks. Tomorrow is her first day out of quarantine. They're not having anything planned right now, but they have exercise and she can go down to the physical therapy room where there's exercise equipment and things like that. Once she does that, she could share with me what she's allowed to do. It's an older facility, but it is nice."

"Grove Manor is a nursing home with an assisted living side, which my friend has now relocated to. He wants to stay there because of the physical therapy team that is there. They are highly rated and renowned in the area for providing really good physical therapy services. It’s not really convenient for me, but for people who are living in the Mercer, Franklin, and Northern Lawrence County area, it would probably be fine, and it’s not hard to find either. He hates the food because it’s rather bland. The pricing is pretty good. The nurses are fine, the physical therapists are fine, and it’s a clean facility, but he just moved into the assisted living side and the air conditioner broke the first day. "

"My mother was a short term patient in the fall of 2015 after suffering a heart attack and open heart surgery. The staff were absolutely amazing and the nursing care was excellent. All her personal needs were met, her room was cleaned daily, and she liked the food. She became close with so many of the staff members and was able to go back home within four weeks. "

"I was very happy about the care my grandmother received during her stay at this facility. She lived there for five years before she passed away. Each time we visited her, we saw familiar faces. Many of the nurses and other caregivers knew us by name and always greeted us in a friendly manner. All of the staff members had an excellent repoire with the residents. The nursing home held many activities. Each year they had Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, and an annual summertime picnic. They had weekly games such as bingo and other various card and board games. On Sundays, the residents could speak to a Pastor. Beauty school students would come and give the residents haircuts and other beauty services. They were also very good about pairing people. They would put people with similar personalities in one room. It definately helped improve morale. The only real complaint I have is about the food. Orchard Manor paid close attention to diet but most of the time it was bland. But then again, what hospital or nursing home actually has good food? Above all, my grandmother really enjoyed her time there. As much as we wanted to take care of her in our home, it just wasn't possible. Orchard Manor was her second home. "

"My late wife spent her last 22 months there, and I was there for 2 weeks of orthopedic post-operative rehabilitation after surgery. Overall care was compassionate, concerned, and outstanding by all from the executive director, nurses, aides, rehabilitation and recreational staff, and the medical director. Even the food was excellent. I recommend this place with no reservations. "
