"My sister stayed at Clapps Nursing Center, and it was nice. She was in there for 2 to 3 weeks. The facility was very clean, and it smelled good. The people were very friendly and helpful. The facility was good. I liked the place. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food smelled and looked good. They gave my sister a lot of food. They had activities there, but my sister wasn't able to participate."

"My sister moved into the Genesis Siler City facility (Siler City Care and Rehabilitation Center). So far it's very expensive, but good. The staff is good, very helpful, and accommodating. The food is very good. The dining area is good and accommodates about 50 people. They have very good amenities. They have a garden area. They take people to the doctors and the rehabilitation is good."

"We are on the waitlist for Piedmont Crossing. We toured it and we selected a patio home. It's more like a regular home and it's not in the main campus area. I think we'll be able to start with independent living. You can migrate to assisted living if you need to, and then they also have skilled nursing. We get full access to all the main building amenities. They had a gym, recreation, and a dining area. They have field trips and stuff on site, and they have a movie night. They have about everything we would need now. The room is a two-bedroom, and a bath and a half. It's got a little front porch and a back-covered back patio. It's 1100 square feet with a living room and a kitchen. We will cook mostly since it's got a full kitchen. It was big on my list to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer."

"Clean, comfortable and friendly caring staff. The food is much better than other local options in nursing homes. They have a new director of nursing who seems to be on top of things."

"We have loved ones at Westchester Manor and Westchester Harbor. Both are good. No place is perfect but the Manor is best nursing home I have ever seen. I have never seen a more helpful caring, and dedicated staff. The food is good, the activities are good and the place is clean. It's a challenge to take care of a lot of people- especially when many or incontinent, but they do a good job. It's a positive atmosphere where they really care about the residents care. We never worry about our mother being there. We are thankful for them."

"My mom stayed here for many years, and totally enjoyed everything about Maryfield. She actually is the person who chose this site as opposed to us "kids". She was mostly in Independent Living quarters for about 8 years before health necessitated her moving to the nursing facility there for a relatively short period of time. The people working there are not only very capable, but they are also extremely caring and pay attention to their residents. I have had other friends in residence here both in Independent Living as well as Assisted Living. ALL have been extremely positive about their experience here."

"My mother used to live at Greenhaven Health & Rehabilitation Center. I like the people there. They were friendly and nice. They look like they treated the patients real good. The staff can do a little improvement, but mostly it was well. They have a place where they can style their hair. They got a place of activity in and out of the activity room. They have a place for rehabilitation where they can be able to walk. They can even be able to stand up and walk in the room, which helps them walk better."

"The facility was clean, they had friendly staff and they appeared to be concerned with their residents. The facility provided various activities for residents who were able to participate. There were events such as game night and movie nights that allowed residents to be able to get out of their rooms and mingle with other residents. Each hallway had a cute name such as "Robin Way", which made the place feel like home. Instead of just having a room number, they had "street" to go to. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable and the residents seemed to like them. They treated residents with care and respect. Since most of the residents are elderly, it was nice to see them give respect. They called patients Ms. Or Mr. and their names. Even though many of the residents are older and sometimes rude, staff knew how to deal with it properly. It was nice to see the staff attempt to make the facility feel like a home away from home for their clients. "

"My brother-in-law is in Meridian Center. It is an excellent place. I like the interaction with the staff, the patients, and the staff and the family. They're very nice and very attentive. There's no way we would even look at the possibility of moving him if it wasn't so far away. It is a little bit confusing to get from one spot to the other, and I just kind of felt that it was too easy for me to go in there. My brother-in-law was telling us all about the different stuff that he does. The staff was telling us about how much he participates. He's very active with them. After looking at some of the facilities in South Carolina and compared to what you get at this place, it is tremendous. It's a big difference."

"SunBridge is actually a multi-tier system that works well from what I can see. I did not get a tour that I would have loved but I did get a quick walk through because there was something going on within the building. Outside was lovely. The grounds were kept up and there were a few elderly folk chatting it up and having a great time on a few of the benches placed outside. In fact, SunBridge is just one of many facilities across America owned by the same corporation so you know they must be doing well for themselves and once you step inside the building you will see what I am talking about. The staff was very helpful in answering questions that I had and the guest did seem to have enjoyed themselves while I was there. I would definitely give this place a try and see where it leads. "

"My mom is now at Adams Farm Living & Rehabilitation. It's very nice. I've been there. It's clean. She raves about the food. The food is great and the majority of the staff is really great. Her room is nice and large. The facility is very clean. I haven't seen the dining area because she's been eating food in her room. They're providing good rehabilitation and therapy for her."

"The place looked clean. It's old but in decent shape. Staff were very friendly. I didn't notice any bad smells. I got calls when things changed and everyone answered my questions. "
