The rooms are what you would expect. The food is disgusting!!! I wouldn't feed it to a rat. The staff do as little as possible.

My sister is currently at Wilkes Assisted Living. It's a very clean place, and all of the people that I have been in touch with have been very helpful. They call me if they need to ask anything. If anything happens, they let me know. Her room is very nice. She doesn't participate in many activities, but they offer most activities that other places offer. I saw their schedule, and they offer a lot of things. The dining area is very clean, and the food looks good. She was in their nursing home side, and now she's in their assisted living. The staff is very kind, caring, and helpful.

The help there take a long time to help her to the restroom.I don't think there are enough help for the amount of people that are there She has had to ware dippers from the start of her stay.The Doctor that is over the facility are not there very much it toke about a month before they go her meds the way they should be. The facility is very clean. The staff is always friendly. The ground are beautifully kept up and clean.I don't like that the shower in the bathroom is shared with two room and two people in each room. There is only one rest room for visitors. They do allow people to visit with small dogs.Most of the resident like this pretty much. They light up when they see the dogs. There are also birds in the facility that the residents can see and look at. The food I have not seen.But she said its not bad.They were not shore of how to give her therapy so that has put her behind on her recovery.
