We visited a friend at Autumn Care of Drexel. It's one I'm familiar with, and I had a family member there, too. The staff is very friendly. It's a nice facility. Nice ground. Some of their equipment is a little bit dated. The room's design and layout are okay but the equipment that I mentioned specifically is dated, like the patient's bed, which was an old tubular aluminum style hospital bed, which is very uncomfortable. Upkeep and cleanliness are good. All we have seen was their family visitation areas. My uncle stayed there until he passed.

My mother was in Autumn Care at one time. She had broken her hip. She could not get in and out of bed very well, and they were insistent that she go to the dining room to eat, but that was a problem for her. It might have been in their mind that they wanted to get her up, but she had a really rough time. I liked them telling me everything they were doing and asking me how they could make it easier on her. She had to go to the hospital, and when she went to the hospital, they didn’t inform me, so I had to find that on my own. When I went back to get her stuff, nobody there talked to me. I wasn’t pleased with that place. I wasn’t crazy about the sanitation either; I don’t think it was very good.

I have visited Autumn Care several times to visit some members of my church. It's a nice facility.
