After my knee surgery, I needed to go to a nursing home, so I moved to Harborview Rehab and did not like it. The employees were great, but the facility itself is not since it's an old hospital, although they had a great physical therapy room. In the room that I was in, they had just painted it, so it was bare. Their food was awful.

When my mom was released from the hospital, Harborview Healthcare Center was one of the places that offer a bed. The facility appears to be fairly nice and clean. I'm 800 miles away, so I can't follow up with it every day. But I believe they're taking pretty good care of mom. She has Alzheimer's and dementia. The place is family-oriented so it's a good feel. Although, they could maybe improve or give more one-on-one attention to the residents.

Checked this facility out thoroughly, before assisting my father to move in here. They have a wonderful philosophy of making you feel like you're a valued guest, while still overseeing your safety and security. Owner opened the facility to provide this excellent offering based on years of experience herself in the health care field. She wanted to open a place that "she" would like to live in.
