Heath House has a lot of caring individuals, Annie on first shift and Megan on second shift are two of my favorites. They have always been so kind and willing to go above and beyond with helping, explaining, and even giving advice. Brittany is an amazing leader and definitely has some future leaders within her staff. Keep up the good work guys!

The tour experience at Heath House was informative. They answered all of our questions. The staff was knowledgeable and very welcoming. The apartments were adequate. The dining area was fine. Upkeep and maintenance looked good. They accept Medicaid and they allow smoking. It was pretty much all inclusive for meds and a doctor would come in and therapy would come in.

My mother is a resident of Heath House. They do have a lockdown, which means all the outside doors are locked and they can only go out code and use a security code. So, they are not supposed to be able to roam and go outside the building. They have four halls, and one of them is the dining hall. Mother likes to walk the halls. We can come and go as we would like as a family. She has the in-house doctor service, they're there once a week. The staff is pretty good. My mother likes some of the staff more than others, but it's a very caring facility for her. She is in a private room. We were able to take in her furniture from home and make it feel like home. We got her pictures on the wall and her couch is there, the things that she remembers. There are some shared rooms. They do have groups that come in, and they sing in one night, and they have a minister that comes in one night. My mother's dementia is just too far along to do some of the other things that they have. They did go on a farm trip, but she wasn't able to go.

I have a family member living at Heath House and I adore the staff, mostly because they adore my brother. If something doesn't seem right with him they WILL NOT STOP until they have answers! The only time I had a concern I voiced it to a MT, the lady over resident care (unsure of title) called me before I was out of the parking lot inquiring to know more about my concern, she promised to have it handled before the days end, I got another call about three hours later and everything plus some had been handled. I am very pleased! What I have seen the food looked good, of course my brother has a few things he doesn't like but that anywhere.

The facility has definitely improved since the start of 2016, I have been very impressed with the care provided and how staff and management is willing to help out at any time.

I have placed my father at Heath House. The level of service and care is very good. They provide exceptional care, and are always very warm and kind. The place is always very neat and clean and they have went out of their way several times to make sure everything was ok with my father. It took them time to know his eating needs but once we had that under control everyone seemed please. The staff knows everyone by name, even the family members and they are very professional while keeping a warm and kind attitude. They provide an array of activities to keep their clients occupied and happy, however, the residence must choose to go. When you first come they carefully explain they will not force anyone to go or join anything. It is voluntary. The rooms are decent size and they even have on site hair stylist that come in to do the client's hair. I would recommend the Heath House to anyone that is seeking an assisted living facility for one of their loved ones. I have ever had any problems with the Heath House, and any concerns we may have had were dealt with very quickly and we saw almost instant results. Most importantly, my father has told me he loves it there and thanks me for choosing such a great place.

When this facility is under new management and someone "cleans house" to remove lazy employees maybe it would be a better place for your loved one. Please pay attention to loved one's medications, their meals (special diets) and all money (including their accounts). The more you are involved, you'll witness for yourself. The poorest management I have ever witnessed! This lady needs to learn respect and true compassion!!! Management limits activities and events! The residents pay and deserve better care and more attention than they receive. The pictures are only for show...

I have had my loved one there for three months and was surprised to realize that the activities listed on the calendar are not being carried out like they should be. The residents will tell you they are bored most of the time. Even though field trips are listed on the calendar very few residents ever get to go, only a selected few. The rooms are not cleaned very well and have a smell sometimes when I visit. There is also no place to sit and visit except their rooms. It is not becoming of visitors. There is an on-site salon that does a great job considering their small area. I just wish they could offer more for these older residents.

I have been visiting my aunt Mary at the Heath House for a number of years, and the level of service and care is very good. They provide exceptional care, and are always very warm and kind. The place is always very neat and clean and they have went out of their way several times to make sure everything was ok with aunt Mary. The staff knows everyone by name, even the family members and they are very professional while keeping a warm and kind attitude. I would recommend the Heath House to anyone that is seeking an assisted living facility for one of their loved ones. I myself, nor my family have ever had any problems with the Heath House, and any concerns we may have had were dealt with very quickly and we saw almost instant results.
