Carriage House Senior Living Community is a very nice place to live. The staff here is friendly and very knowledgeable. My interaction with them has been very positive and very professional. The food is good. The rooms are well kept, large enough, and very comfortable. There are plenty of activities throughout the week. They have bingo, walking trails, and a trivia contest. There's also a barber/ beauty salon and several books in the libraries. The building is well-maintained, well-kept, and an interesting place to live.

My husband is in the memory care of Carriage House Senior Living Community. I like how easy it was to do all the paperwork and get everything done to get him there. That was a positive. The facilities are very clean and well-kept. The people there seem very nice, caring, and very receptive. I think the residents spend a lot more time out and with other people than they do in the rooms at the memory care. But the room was clean. It had a nice big bathroom and nice linens. You can get a TV if you want. My husband has been there for four days now. The food is very good. They have an event director. They have music going on all the time. There's like a dining room they can sit in, and there's a place where they can sit and watch TV if they want to. There's an activity room and there are all kinds of games and puzzles in there. They have activity boards for them. They have sing-a-longs, too. Also, if it's a nice day, they can go outside. It's like a big fenced-in area and a garden area that they can walk through.

We visited Carriage House. We looked at the room and the overall description of how the place ran. The parking is a little tight, but other than that, everything looked nice and well-kept. The staff who gave the tour was very nice and seemed to be very knowledgeable. We looked at the dining area, and it looked to be quite adequate. They pointed out a library and the exercise area.

My mother is in Carriage House right now. The staff members are pretty caring. I have no issues with them whatsoever. She has her own bathroom, shower, and everything. It is a nice sized room. She said the food could be better. She doesn't like the activities too much, but a lot of the residents do. I know they do bingo. Their transportation works well. They keep the grounds very good. They have plenty of grounds to move about.

I toured Carriage House Senior Living Community with my mother, and she's going there for respite on the 10th of the month. In terms of what I have seen, it exceeded my expectations. It was clean. It was lively. People weren't just sitting around in chairs. They seemed to be active and walking around and there was an activities director. I couldn't say enough about it. And they had just many, many places, both inside and outside, for the residents to be, but yet it's very secure. It was spotless. The staff was just great. I did not get a chance to try the food. My mom just wanted ice water. So one of the staff members brought over a big pitcher of ice water, and she was impressed with that. But from what I can smell, it was scrumptious. It wasn't that kind of nursing home type of atmosphere at all, where the food just smells awful. It smelled like a restaurant, it was nice.

Carriage House Senior Living Community was very nice, the people were very friendly, very informative, and if I had my choice, thats where I would have place my dad. The cost was out of his budget. The staff was very patient and very informative. The rooms were excellent, very clean and neat. It would have been an excellent choice. The manager stayed in touch with me, they had one lady who actually came to our home and interviewed my dad, and she was very nice.

My mom has been living in the dementia department at Carriage House (Carriage House Senior Living Community). It's really good and they explained everything to me and my mother. The place is clean and she has a room. They come in, clean, and wash her clothes. They give her her medication and they see their doctor there. The staff is really good. They have an exercise room, activities like arts and crafts, and they take them to church on a bus. My mother is eating there really good. My mom is well taken care of.

Carriage House is good. The staff is excellent. However, my mom is very picky, and she is not eating right now. There aren't any activities. The rooms are excellent. My mother's room is beautiful.

I was very impressed with Carriage House. It's very clean, well-oriented, the people and staff were very nice, and it was in a nice location. They have a game room, a church, outside seating on the grounds, and quite a few things for the seniors to do.

The room that I got in Carriage House is good. I have a roommate and we share a bathroom and little kitchenette with a small refrigerator. They have a library and a chapel, there are card games, Bingo, and they take us on trips to the mall or when we need to do personal shopping and things like that. There are also birthday parties, a Halloween party, and exercise classes. There are staff members that are willing to do everything to help you, and there are a couple that are there just because they need the job and not because they want to be there. So sometimes we get attitude. It's just expensive, although all of them are. They take care of my medication and personal needs and the doctor does personal visits every week, so that's nice.

Mom stayed at Carriage House Senior Living Community in a very small room, and the food was bad. I paid them to give her her medications but half of the time, I would find out they missed something. So I decided to take her out of there. They had activities everyday but the residents there seemed a little older. They had people checking on her all the time which I appreciated, asking her if she wanted snacks or something. They also did her laundry. The community was laid out in a quad kind of way and each quad had its own dining room, so it was more intimate. They put too much pepper in the food and a lot of times, they couldn't eat it.

We visited Carriage House, but they did not have room accommodations for my parents. They took us and showed us the rooms that they have, and it just was not what we were looking for. As far as I remember, the community was fine, and the staff was pleasant.

My sister is in a one-room unit at Carriage House. It is pretty spacious and has room for a small bed, a recliner and a big closet and has a really nice bathroom with a walk-in, sit-down shower. They have people who come in to clean who do a good job. About the staff, some are good but others are not so good. They accommodate you, sometimes. Physically, the facility is nice. My big complaint is the food. You pay a large amount of money for someone to stay there, but the food is just not in line with the amount of money you pay. It is just not what it should be as far as the quality and the taste are concerned. I believe a lot of the food comes out of cans. They have social activities there but most of the residents don’t participate. My sister doesn’t participate either, but from what I observed, they have bingo, people come in to sing and play the piano, and have parties on special occasions. Every once in a while, they have a celebration, like at Christmas. They have a lady that comes in and does their nails if they want it. I think they offer good activities.

I liked Carriage House because it’s quiet, the patients were looked after very well, and it’s clean. It’s in a nice and secured place. We moved my aunt’s bedroom for her and placed it in a room with her personal stuff, and she found this familiar. The people working there were wonderful.

Carriage House has allowed my 92 year old mom to feel loved, cared for and more herself than in a really long time. The staff is amazing with their caring attitude. Where at another facility Mom was isolated, at Carriage House, Mom is brought into activities and her social as well as health needs are front and foremost for the CAREgivers at Carriage House. Our family could not be more pleased....over the top about Mom's care.

My mother likes the staff at Carriage House Community. The management is welcoming. The facility is just the right size for her. She likes the food. They do have activities. Today, they were having someone come in to do the nails of the residents. I know that they will be going to the science center and I've seen them play board games in the lobby. They have been to the winery and I thought that was fantastic.

If I had to choose a place I visited to which to send my mother, I would choose the Carriage House. The tour was nice. The lady that gave the tour seemed to be a knowledgeable and warm person. I think Carriage House appeared to be relatively new, so it was nice and bright. It was a very well-kept facility too. The thing I like about the Carriage House is you could walk in a complete circle and you would have gone around the entire facility. There's also an atrium at the center. However, the rooms were typical. They did take me to a closet where they had memory boxes. Of all the places that I went, this gets the highest rating.

While I was not happy with the temperature of my father's room and the initial response from the staff to my questions/concerns, I will say they are working hard to remedy the situation. They are also working hard to get him to acclimated, which is not an easy task for a man who is anxious and didn't really want to move in the first place. With time, I think Carriage House will be the right choice for all. These early days have been rocky, but we selected them for a reason, and I suspect in the long run we will be glad we did.

We really like Carriage House. It was a really great experience and they were high up on our list. They were very accommodating and very professional. It was like a resort. They were very professional. The actual facility's décor is very nice. But the rooms that were available are kind of tossed back in a corner. It's almost like a hotel, and your loved one can almost feel more secluded, and they're not in the main stream of things. They don't have a lot of mobility. They can be like back in the corner and nobody ever goes there. They had great activities. It didn't seem as lively, but it was still a great experience. I really enjoyed it there. The room availability was a little deterrent.

Carriage House had a pleasant atmosphere and a well-manicured layout. They have two levels with a dining room on each level. They have a family room and the individual rooms are large and furnished. They have activities throughout the day like games and groups come to visit or sing to them. Pets are allowed to visit. The staff is very caring, attentive, friendly and engaging with all the residents. The place is open to visit to people in your list and others would be permitted during the day. Everyone always seems happy and pleasant there.

My mother is a resident in the memory care unit of Carriage House. I am so pleased with the care she receives. The caregivers are affectionate & friendly. I am always informed of any health issues & any questions concerning treatment or care are quickly answered. The memory care unit is bright & cheerful. Residents are moved through activities to stimulate & retain their abilities. I would recommend this home to anyone!

This facility is well placed and the grounds are very well kept upon pulling into the driveway. I spoke to the lady at the receptionist's desk and she was very pleasant in fact she didn't stop smiling. She eerily reminded me of the "Joker" in the movie "Batman". They offered me a booklet with floor plans and a tour of the facility so I took it. They did ask me why I was there so I told them I had a family member that I thought belong there which was not a lie at all. My guide showed me around and told me that they have events like cookouts and that they go bowling, etc so needless to say, I was very impressed. Every time I walked passed a worker, they would greet me which was a big plus in my book. All in all, I would definitely recommend this facility. The staff knows their job and they put the guests first.
