I went to Hickory Falls Health & Rehabilitation for rehab. It was good. I had a room to myself, although I think it was meant to be a double. It was a big room with a nice-sized bathroom. The staff that I met were fine. However, they did not warn me that a young man might be sent in to help me up off the toilet. It was a real shock, but I got used to it. The young men who worked there were very professional. I was there for two or three weeks. The food was fine. I didn't have any trouble with it. I never saw any problems. I would recommend it.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE place to send a love one. I was a witness to it. This place needs to be closed down. Terrible staff,no communication, they lie to family members and don't take care of the patients. Please if you are looking for a place to put a love one RUN far far away from this place. The doctor and NP are awful.

I have been at Hickory falls everyday for 8 hours a day for 14 months now sitting with a friend . I have to say Hickory Falls is one of the very best nursing and rehab places I have been at . With being here for 14 months I have to say they have the best staff and nurses and cna’s of anywhere I have been . The rooms are clean and smell great no bad odor. The cleaning staff are always cleaning . The cna’s at Hickory Falls are excellent and friendly I highly recommend Hickory Falls . And I was give them a 5 out of 5 rating

My paw was at this facility in December of last year after falling at home and breaking his hip. He also had COVID & a UTI. He was very sick & fragile. They took experimental care of him. The nurses & therapists were very attentive to him & his needs. I’m so thankful for the care and compassion they showed towards my paw. Everyone treated him like family. They even called him paw. I would have no hesitation in placing my loved ones at this facility.

If your family member is in need of “inpatient intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy”, this is not the place. My family member was ordered a minimum of 3 hours per day. He didn’t receive that one day that he was there. The most he got was about half an hour. Several days out of a week, he got none. They assumed he had dementia but he was quiet lucid and kept track of his treatment. Now he is weaker and far behind in his recovery. I told physical therapist he was bored to death sitting in his room. He promised activities which never happened. The CNAs, and nurses were very good to him which is appreciated. The social worker was very helpful and caring. This facility does not need to be in the rehabilitation business.

We chose Hickory Falls initially after Mom's surgery at Baptist Hospital because they had a private room available, a week into her stay they tried to move a roommate in with her even though the facility was not at capacity. We were able to keep this from happening. At one point when I called to check on Mom, the medical staffer I spoke with on the phone said, and I quote, 'Yeah, it will be like Covid-what, once the election is over!' This facility had two and now has three staff members who have have tested positive for Covid 19, thank God Mom was transferred before she too became infected. I can say that the intake process was good, the social worker is very respectful and genuinely cares about the patients and the families. She was wonderful.

They are very misleading.... show you a nice , private room, and lead you to believe that's the room your family member will have.... give you a small room with roommate.... tv was on the other side of room, my family member could not see it.... I was told if I brought a tv it would be put up... that didn't happen.... this place is very understaffed, especially on weekends, nurses/ cna's are overworked.... we were lied to on several occasions this is a TERRIBLE place! Please do extensive research before you place a family member here!!

My grandmother was there for 20 days in January 2018.She received 1 shower in 20 days and left with a horrible yeast infection caused from her wet diaper not being changed regularly. The staff would tell you what you wanted hear,so you'd leave them alone.I would highly recommend that you NOT put your loved here.By the way I'm the pastor of a local church and have no reason to lie about anything I've said.

My dad is in Hickory Falls. They have three units, one for long-term care, and two rehab units. They offer onsite occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and they do skilled nursing care. They do local transportation to doctor's appointments and things like that. He has a private room with a full private bathroom. The nursing staff is wonderful and they're on top of all his needs. He's very happy, it's nicer than a hospital setting, and it's homier.

The people working there are very rude and snappy.the gentleman sharing a room with my fatherhas had a stroke, and has lost most use of his left side .he asked the nurse to push his bed side tray with his supper up to his bed . To which she replied " u werent ready when i was now u can wait till i am done with everyone else." Very few of the people are helpful last question i asked which was about a key for the lock drawer every resident is soppose to have after dad had several things stolen the answer was "dont know i dont work this hall ".no one seems to anything. Luckly dad only has to be there one more month so he ll be out of there. If u actully care and want updates on ur friend or family on their condition . Dont count on anyone knowing or wanting to help . Most days people dont even know what nurse is working what hall.

Im here to review camelot manor nursing facility, i had an overall good experience there and would like to high recommend their friendly knowledgeable staff. I was a resident there for two years shortly after my first hip replacement. I only required alittle help.from the nurses there, but i must say, they really do care about the wellfare of their patients. While i was there i got to experience some of the things a nurse does to keep their patient healthy/happy. I reallt dont see why these nurses do this job....they must love it, otherwise they wouldnt give a hoot! I gave camelot manor nursing facility four out if five stars....only because i didnt find the food they served to be up to my standards, but for the overall patient treatmemt i give it a six out of five star rating. If you really care for your loved ones camelot manor nursing facility is the place for them!
