I would rank Elon Village as one of the best options for care in Alamance County. I'm in and out of care facilities daily, most of which I find to be unacceptable, but I would not hesitate to recommend a loved one be placed here. The staff does a remarkable job and the owner truly cares about the residents and employees.

Elon Village Homes would not be my very first pick if you are looking for senior assisted living. For one it is not a pure assisted living facility as there is a mixture of a little younger crowd (50 year old 's with dementia and Alzheimer's). The entire staff did not seem like they were entirely devoted into their job. Some of them were mostly worried about other things and not about patients and that had me very upset. It almost seemed that the patients came last and that was not a good start to the review. With no real garden and no courtyard, the patients really had nothing beautiful to look at except the semi-nice wallpaper and some of it was peeling. The patients looked very pale and did not looked to thrilled to be there. It could have been that I just caught them on an off day.
