My wife and I lived in Trinity View. They had some units for assisted living, but we stayed in their independent living. We had some problems there in terms of concern for the residents. I had an accident while in the physical therapy department. The equipment broke, and I landed on my back. They took me to the emergency room and never told my wife where I was, or what had happened. When I returned, they also never asked how I was doing or if there was anything they could do to help. The cleanliness was okay but we had some trouble like people who didn't respect our private space. They just felt they could walk into the apartment any time. The administrative staff was not very good. They never told my wife that I was taken to the emergency room. Some of the staff were just kind of impersonal. They just kind of ignored you. I think they hired a new business administrator and he's trying to get things straightened out. They had a lot of activities but I think it felt more like they were trying to entertain us instead of really assisting us in living. It felt like they just kind of humor us for a while until we die. The food was very good, though, because they had a good chef.

I chose Trinity View because of the smell, the food, the separation of the residents, and the overall cleanliness. I also like the aspect of laundry being done separately, so my mother's is not mixed with everybody else's laundry. Some of the amenities and activities include pool, bridge, bingo three times a week, exercise classes based on the multiple abilities of the folks, yoga class, and a hairdresser. They also have a doctor on-call. They were very helpful in getting her set up with a couple of physicians and dentists in that area. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
