Stanly Manor

Stanly Manors is a nursing home that is located off of US 52. Stanly Manors has a nice lobby that had a couple of parakeets inside as well as other pets. I visited Stanly Manors to volunteer to host a bingo game. The staff who were working that day seemed to genuinely care for the residents. The staff did seem to be a little overworked and the events coordinator complained that the nurses were understaffed and were not always able to provide lots of activities for the residents. Stanly Manors seemed to be heavily dependent on volunteer help. The residents who I interacted with only said great things about Stanly Manors and the staff. Stanly manors would be a great assisted living facility is someone is looking for a place in a small southern town. Stanly Manors benefits greatly from Pfeiffer University students who often volunteer their such as myself. While nurses may not be able to provide tons of entertainment. There are always students available to volunteer.
