I visited Heritage Manor of Lockport. It was absolutely gorgeous, very warm, inviting, and very friendly. We were able to talk to quite a few of the residents, got to see all of the facility, and the different things they offer. They answered all of our questions. We sat down with Trisha, and she went over a lot of things. She asked questions, and we asked questions. She was very friendly and very helpful. People were finishing up lunch, and we did talk to them, and they said that they had no issues with the food. Everything looked good. It was very clean and very orderly. Everything was great about it.

Heritage Manor of Lockport was nice and clean. People are very friendly. The dining rooms are big. It's a nice place, but they don't take insurance. That's the only downfall of that place. It's going to be out of pocket. They offered us refreshments. They have a puzzle room where they work on puzzles. They take the people out to parks and they go on boat rides, and they do a lot with them. It was very clean. They just did a renovation.

At Heritage Manor of Lockport, everybody seemed to know everybody. There's great communication. It seemed like a nice friendly place to live. It's a clean facility. Their dining area had assigned seating versus just having people sit where they wanted, mainly because it was a smaller place. The cook had been there like 26 years or something like that. There's a lot of home-cooked stuff. It was a very nice facility. They had single rooms. The only thing is if they had two to a room while you're waiting for a single room, there wasn't any privacy. There were two beds almost side by side. Some of the facility was a little dated.

My father has moved into Heritage Manor of Lockport. The experience is above and beyond. The staff members have been wonderful. The place is very clean and homey. We ate lunch there a couple of times with my father and it was delicious. There's quite a selection and something different every day. It's very good. The common area would be the great room and that's really nice. We watched the football game there with the residents. There are lots of nice chairs and couches to sit on. They served ice cream sundaes and it's just fun stuff. They have a couple of different kinds of bingo. They have lots of activities. They have someone singing in there and they have some excursions and stuff too, so that's good. With regards to value for money, it's worth it compared to other places like that.

Heritage Manor of Lockport was very quaint. It's small, and it's comfortable. It very much feels like a home and that you're not in a facility. It doesn't have that coldness. Everything was well maintained, very clean, very welcoming, and very warm. The staff was excellent. They had three meals a day. They had a lot of activities going on. There was bingo night, some karaoke, happy hour, movie night, and cards. The residents were very active in communicating with each other and in the company of each other.

Heritage Manor of Lockport is a smaller facility, but they designed that to promote socialization within the residents, encouraging them to get out of their rooms. One of the things that I liked when we first walked in was the common living room was populated and residents were talking with each other and greeting us. We saw people walking around the hallways, talking to each other, too, and it was very encouraging to put somebody in that facility. The staff is very friendly. When you look for someone of my mother-in-law's age, a lot of their issues relate to being lonely, but this was not an environment at all that I would say would be lonely. Even though it's smaller, it's still very well maintained and very well laid out. They had several larger rooms that residents could get together and do group activities. Then they had several smaller areas that were a little bit quieter, that either family could go in and meet with their loved ones. Then their dining room and craft room were of decent size. I was satisfied.

My mother became resident approx 2 years ago. My siblings & I continue to be impressed with Heritage Manor Lockport, NY. We visit weekly so many opportunities to observe. Very thankful she is here and not somewhere else. We are 5 siblings so consider this 5 stars from 5 people.

We had a good experience visiting Heritage Manor. It was a smaller facility and very cozy. The manager was accomodating and took us around. I made a second visit because I know a couple of the residents there, and they invited me into their living spaces. There were great activities for the residents, and we were there for a happy hour. I visited a couple of times and on one visit, they had live music, a guitarist, and a sing-along. It was not as luxurious, but it was very homey and very inviting.
