I visited Brightview Tenafly. It was very nice. They're knowledgeable, and they have a medical person on staff. I didn't try the food, but I saw what they had, and it was nicely done and nicely provided. The rooms and common areas were very nice, clean, and not shabby looking.

Brightview Tenafly was warm and friendly. I checked out the memory care and the staff seemed confident and anxious to help. It's a welcoming place and people would be well taken care of there.

When I toured Brightview Tenafly, I looked at both assisted living and memory care. It was very nice and very clean. The staff was very pleasant, and the director was very thorough. They have activities all day long. At 8:00 in the morning, they take them out of their rooms; they go back to about 8:00 at night. They had everything there.

I visited Brightview Tenafly and was impressed. It's smaller than their sister community in Paramus, but I wasn't looking for a gigantic place anyway. The gentleman who accommodated me was phenomenal and took so much time. We had a wonderful lunch there with a champagne cocktail and exquisite food handmade by the chef, not catered. I saw what his room would be like and met some of the staff. The staff did most of the talking and verbalized what will go on. I was shown a calendar of events including where they go on trips. I liked that when I was going through, they had shops going on including one in the kitchen and a workshop going on. The people seemed attentive, which is very unusual because a lot of times people fall asleep. The staff seemed to have the residents' attention on whatever they're doing.

When our mother needed the next level of memory care we were very careful in our due diligence and looked at a variety of places. We are positively thrilled with the level of care and constant attention my mother receives at Brightview in Tenafly, NJ. She is thriving and never in her room because of the constant activity that keeps her stimulated and happy. I can recommend Brightview without hesitation.

Brightview is a beautiful place with many of the staff going beyond and taking care of the residents. The Nursing staff needs much improvement. The Nursing staff does not communicate with families or residents. If you call the Director of Nursing it takes her 1- 2 days to call you back.

Brightview is the first place I visited, and it was fabulous. The gentleman that I met with is knowledgeable, and in fact gave me good information which helped me in good stead for the rest of my time in this kind of search. The place was gorgeous. The rooms were quite large, and I think too-large for my mother. The staff was very attentive, and I can’t say anything negative about it.
