The Chelsea at Fair Lawn

My mom moved into The Chelsea at Fair Lawn. It's a very caring staff. The aides have been wonderful. They take a real personal interest in each person. Each aide only has four people to pay attention to, so that helps. They take them out of the room for meals, which is great. And they take them outside. They have lots of activities. Overall, it's been a very positive experience. For the food, they have a set menu every day, but they'll also make you anything you want. So, you can't ask for more than that. It's like a kind of being on a cruise line. The facility is almost brand new. It was built in October.

The Chelsea at Fair Lawn was excellent. They were very welcoming and very accommodating in all aspects. We were looking for as far as the individual care that my cousin would need and there was nothing bad to say at all. It was a wonderful place. It was very clean. As far as the other facility accommodations like recreation, they had everything. It was very good. My cousin liked that a lot. It was very homey and the people and everybody were very friendly. They gave us a wonderful pie, showed us the rooms and everything we needed to know. It was very thorough and excellent. They took their time.

We are going to the Chelsea at Fair Lawn for my dad. The location, the newness of it, the price and the size of the rooms, all those things came into play. It's a brand-new facility. My dad is going to independent living. The staff are knowledgeable and empathetic. They have a gym, a salon, and an underground parking garage. They have physical therapy in there. They have a theater there.
