While the Arbors is a beautiful campus and does have some very nice caregivers, it is so sad to see they way they treated my Grandmother during the COVID pandemic. They claim to be a memory care facility... my grandmother had dementia and they failed to care for her on multiple occasions. Sadly, she was sent off for psychiatric evaluation one day when she was upset... this resulted in multiple stops for her throughout this process which tragically resulted in her getting COVID and passing away. I truly believe my dear grandmother would still be alive if they simply would have cared for her with patience, dignity, and respect and wouldn't have passed her along to get rid of a temporary problem. If you are looking for a retirement home for a loved one who is very self sufficient, this would be a good place. But if your loved one has memory-care needs, they do very little to meet these besides claiming to be a memory care facility. I would highly suggest you look into look into other home options. Major changes needs to occur at the Arbors. I don't say any of this out of spite... I just feel the need to honestly speak up for the residents there who have not been able to speak for themselves.

this place has gone downhill. the head of nursing here never comes out of her office. my mom fell here and the nursing staff didnt tell me. we took her out very quickly. they dont clean the bathrooms or change the sheets either. overall stay away if you love your parent and want the best care for them!

Our visit with Westbrook Terrace was a good experience. I was just not ready to downsize to one room. It had a good atmosphere, but there was just a room and a bathroom that would not accommodate my queen-size bed, only a twin-size bed. It would be a good place for someone who was less active than me. I met one of the nice staff members and had a good lunch with her. The dining area and the food were good.

Very positive. The staff were very efficient, knowledgeable, totally professional, and very considerate. The rooms were adequate, clean, and accessible. The dining area was pleasant. The food was very well prepared, well done, and had a nice variety. I liked the small size and the individual attention. They only have 20 residents. It's very personal and very one-on-one kind of caregiving. I would recommend Westbrook Terrace.

We went to visit the Westbrook Terrace assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for our uncle to live. The outside grounds were extraordinarily colorful and vibrant; in fact, we asked about how they keep their flowers looking so nice. The interior foyer was like something out of a large country mansion "“ very inviting, but lots of space. The private and semi-private housing options were all lovely and looked like they had been personalized. We were told that a decorator works with staff and residents to update them regularly to keep them fresh. The facility offers plenty of extra amenities "“ like social enrichment activities with the community, The restaurant style dining area offers many delicious choices. The lunch we had was like you might find in an upscale diner. We could see that our uncle would appreciate their menu options "“ since he's always enjoyed really good food. In fact, he's a great cook and we were told that he would be allowed in the kitchen as he wished. They also had a private dining room for friends and family to enjoy. The beauty and barber shops were buzzing with activity and looked like they were fun to visit. It even has a day spa program. The staff takes residents on weekly outings for shopping and entertainment "“ and they also take short trips for overnight stays sometimes. The exercise area has a really pretty outdoor walking path. The media center area was equipped with an extra wide screen TV and one of the community rooms had a piano. Westbrook Terrace is one of the better facilities in Jefferson City that we have visited thus far.
