Mom is at Woodbury Villa. The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly. The residents all look out for each other. If you have concerns, they handle those very quickly. I have not tried the food, but I know that there are lots of complaints about it. One of the things I like most about them is the activities. The person behind this program is fantastic. Her name is Sam. There's always stuff going on, and she does a great job. She has an assistant, Melissa. Their price is very good. One thing I don't like about them, though, is that there's been a lot of turnover. The people are all great, but that's just been a little difficult. You get to know somebody and then they're gone.

I will move into Woodbury Villas and I'm getting a one-bedroom apartment. I like the apartment, the whirlpool tub, and it's got an elevator. They have a lot of activities planned on the calendar where you're not just sitting. The facility looked clean. It wasn't a dump and it wasn't fancy. Victoria was very friendly and thorough. She showed me everything and explained everything, and I liked their location.

My tour of Woodbury Villas went well, but I don't think that would be a good fit for my mom. What I liked best was all the activities that they have, and that there seemed to be good participation. A lot of people were active. I also liked the meal options. You could either have the regular meal or other options. What I liked least was the condition of the building. It's an old building. The staff member who gave the tour was very well informed and very helpful. She gave great information about the place. She was super nice. However, the place wouldn't be a good fit for my mom because it wasn't clean enough. And the rooms weren't impressive and seemed dark. However, the staff made me feel welcome and people looked happy.

I visited the Woodbury Villas to look at their independent living. It was just crappy-looking and looked more like just a regular nursing home. It didn't have any kind of appeal. The front door was a turn-off so as soon as I got to the front door, I said nope. The people were friendly, though. The lady who gave the tour was the social worker there because the lady who was supposed to come and give me the tour didn't show up. She showed me the activity room and the exercise room which only had a couple pieces of equipment. It had 2 or 3 workout machines and the room was very small. It wasn't appealing at all. She also showed me the apartments and they were old and outdated.
