Hayes Residence is a small assisted living facility in St. Paul, Minnesota. It has been in existence for many years, providing safe housing and limited medical support to high-functioning individuals who are unable to live on their own. The staff is very family-oriented - everyone at Hayes knows each other on a first-name basis, and the staff members are very responsive to family requests. The facility itself is somewhat old-fashioned in appearance - the bulk of residents share a room with another, although a few single rooms are available. The facility provides three meals per day as well as a number of educational and recreational activities to its residents, including day trips, shopping and expeditions to local restaurants. It is an excellent facility for people who need a limited amount of support - it should not be considered for those who require full-time physical or memory care. Most of the residents are long-term and are very comfortable there.

The residence are very nice and friendly. Some residents pull up smell don't get changed often so they smell like pee and poop. Some of the staff are nice and some of them are very rude and mean And they think they own the place. I had an emergency where I needed my EpiPen and 1 the TMA was busy just eating when I was having a reaction because I accidentally ate pineapple. TMA told me to wait for the RN to come back that that he the RN was going to give me the EpiPen and then when they are RN came back the staff said the EpiPen was kept in the fridge which confused the RN. Since then the TMA has been giving me attitudes and dirty looks. Which is unprofessional of the TMA. I am shocked that's the TMA is still working in this place even after I told The head of nursing what happened to me. This place doesn't know how to handle an emergency very well I have witnessed a lot of residents coming to the nursing station and the nurses just take this sweet time attending today emergency. My medicine end up missing/throw away a lot in this place. TMA and nurses don't Wear glove when giving medicine. Have witnessed meditation dropping on fall and being given to the residents. The TMA shout if you went to the bathroom and to come take you medicine like you are deaf, no respect for the residents at all. The cleaning crew and maintenance are the who who are making this place look better. They cleaned the rooms every other day. Fix any scratches on the walls. Clean the dinning room after every meal. The food is good on Tuesdays and Thursday it's really good and every other weekend it's really good that's because it's cooked by a chef who knows what they're doing I wouldn't recommend Hayes residence to anyone. Because of the the bad experience I have had with with some TMA's, social worker, nurse and kitchen stuff.
