Our Culinary Director is working on continuous improvements to our dining services as our residents needs change. There’s always something exciting on the menu at Roitenberg.

MC A.M. shift - 1 HHA to 6 tenants, 1 nurse P.M. shift – 1 HHA to 6 tenants, 1 nurse Overnights – 1 HHA and 1 nurse (overnight nurse covers all of building)

Home care director with assistance/feedback from home care nurses. Assessments will be completed upon change of condition and at regular intervals.

It is nestled near a neighborhood community and conveniently located by frequently used shopping and banking area.

Music, one to one visits, spiritual care programs, arts and crafts, cooking/baking groups, exercise groups, games

Sholom shuttles for tenants that can go out/shop independently and transportation for outings on the Sholom shuttles.

AL 2nd floor A.M. shift - 1 HHA to 18 tenants and 1 nurse that covers MC and 2nd floor P.M. shift - 1 HHA to 18 tenants and 1 nurse that covers MC and 2nd floor Overnights - 1 HHA to 18 tenants (nurse stationed in MC that covers entire building) AL 3rd floor A.M. shift - 1 HHA to 18 tenants and 1 nurse that covers 3rd and 4th floor P.M. shift - 1 HHA to 18 tenants and 1 nurse that covers 3rd and 4th floor Overnights - 1 HHA to 18 tenants (nurse stationed in MC that covers entire building) AL 4th floor (higher level of care AL tenants and EAL package tenants) A.M. - 3 HHA to 16 tenants and 1 nurse that covers 3rd and 4th floor P.M. - 3 HHA to 16 tenants and 1 nurse that covers 3rd and 4th floor Overnights – 1 HHA to 16 tenants (nurse stationed in MC that covers entire building) Note: Staff to resident ratio is dependent upon census, therefore, the staff ratios listed above are never promised.

Common household pets of 25 lbs. or smaller that can be exercised on the lawn area in front of building.

Annual inservice, annual required education refresher and changes in care procedures, education nurse specialist that will work one on one with staff along with specialized training and inservices for memory impairment.

Music, one to one visits, spiritual care programs, arts and crafts, cooking/baking groups, exercise groups/stretching groups, games. Reminisce conversations, memory boxes.

Our memory care suites feature a limited access entry for residents that wander or we can also suggest the of a 24 hour personal care provider

Prompting and encouragement along with eating assistance as required.

Home care nurses contact emergency contacts/responsible party/first party contact if there is a health emergency, home care director will provide care conferences.

Tenants decide on which hospital they want. If emergency personnel feel that they need a hospital closer than the tenant’s choice, they usual go to Methodist which is the nearest hospital to Roitenberg.

Annual inservice, annual required education refresher and changes in care procedures, education nurse specialist that will work one on one with staff along with specialized training and inservices for memory impairment. Additionally, we have several team members trained as certified dementia trainers and be able to offer regular, additional training to MC staff.

We have a wide variety of individuals! Many folks enjoy visiting with others, playing cards, taking part in classes and seminars, enjoying musical programs and certainly, they love to tease and joke around with our team members! We are all family here!

Guest services desk open 12 hours/day, main doors secured from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., secured memory care area, all visitors and visiting health care agencies sign in/out at the guest services desk and wear visitor tag, two “I’m okay” checks/day.
