We're very happy with VitaCare Living - Duluth Spirit Valley. They were the only ones to accept my sister because of her dialysis treatments. The staff was very welcoming. They assured me that they'd be happy to help with the transition. I didn't need to worry about a lot of things, just move my sister's clothing and personal items that I had to the site, and they would set up her room with those things. It looked very clean, and it was a pleasant environment inside. I haven't tried the food, but I've heard no complaints from my sister.

Spirit Valley Assisted Living assisted living facility while in Wisconsin looking at facilities for our uncle. The exterior was nicely maintained with lovey lawns and walkways where residents could enjoy them easily and navigate them safely. Community rooms included a library, exercise room, craft and visiting rooms, so that seniors could participate in many stimulating activities. The residents also can safely navigate the lovely grounds for exercise. The fitness center included daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The dining rooms had plenty of space. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and when requested. The food looked and smelled appetizing. Private living spaces were generous, nicely designed floor plans. The planned activities included feature outdoor exercise, nature walks, library visits and many cultural events in Duluth and beyond plus hosting gatherings at the facility regularly. The decor of the whole facility was beautiful. The staff was kind and caring to all of the residents that we saw -- who were of varied capability. It was clear that the seniors enjoy living there.
