I went to The Willows Assisted Living. The staff was very helpful and willing to give information and go beyond if they didn't know to gather it. The facility seemed to be very resident friendly. I didn't get a chance to visit the rooms. We addressed that for a later time, being that the person that did the touring of it wasn't available at the moment, but I was able to get a rundown of what took place in the facility. I was able to observe an outdoor activity. There was an indoor activity facility where the residents did puzzles, games, and exercises.

They failed to protect my Father. It was very stressful on the family. We ended up pulling him out as soon as we could. This place is all talk and no action. I recommend you look into other means for your loved ones.

My step mother moved into the Willows Assisted Living for approximately a month now, so as far as were concerned, everythings been good, but step mom is in an adjustment period. Shes in assisted living, and she had to have help, because she walks through the walker. The atmosphere is very warm, very welcoming, and everybody is friendly. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and we put in a queen-size bed, an apartment-size couch, swivel chair, and a new TV in her room. Its pretty accommodating. The staff is very helpful, very knowledgeable, and does what the boss tells them to do. Theyre comfortable in what theyre doing. They have something going on a minimum of four days out of seven, and they have different activities. For St. Patrick's Day, they decorated all the tables, played games, and one person came in, sang and played the keyboard. It seemed like theyre concerned about the residents and want the people to be happy. Were solely responsible for doctors appointments and medical appointments. The price is one of the motivation factors for us. Its a missionary-type thing. You have to pay out-of-pocket for the first two years minimum; after that if something happened and the resident ran out of money, they will take Medicaid or Social Security, and they do not put you out on the street. Its close to home, really convenient, and were there in 15 or 20 minutes, and that was a real plus for us.

Our Mom stayed at the Willows for 6 years until God said it was time for her to come home. The Willows really made us kids feel comfortable about putting Mom in assisted living. We were very happy with her care there. She was well loved there and was the Domino Queen!

My mother was a resident of the memory care unit at The Willows for nearly two years until her death. The care was excellent! I could not have asked for more caring people to take care of my Mom. They are an assisted living home, and when Mom's health declined so that she needed nursing care, hospice was brought in to help manage her care. Both The Willows and Hospice at Home took excellent care of Mom. I can recommend it highly.

We had my grandmom at this place. It was not up to par we took her out and paid a home made to take care of her. They took forever to do anything for her. When I got up to see for see would be in a old soiled diaper that need to be change hours eariler. She told me she had to wait hours to get anything to drink or eat. She beg me to take her out of their. It tooked me about three weeks to save up the money with help from her insurance she was able to come home with a home nurse. She looked so much more alive than she did at the home. she told how much better the home nurses was over the home she ws in at that point she made me promise never to let anyone put her in a home again. three month later she died peacefully in her bed at her home. The one thing I wish she never had to go though was being put in the nurseing home where they stirped her of her self pride.
