If you truly care about the person you need to put in a nursing home, look somewhere else. Especially in times of COVID when families can't visit, expect them to be neglected. My husband left the hospital to go to this place temporarily and there were too many times he was left lying in his feces for 1-2 hours. If you call you are lucky if the phone is answered to be able to get your loved one assistance and the food is mostly inedible. The so called staff "Dr" will not call you and rarely sees the patients. The rehab staff does the minimum they can get away with. My neighbor's wife was in here and she corroborates the PT and food conditions. Think twice, three times then think again. I will spend the rest of my life regretting letting my husband be placed here. They are good liars, but your family member is very low on their priority list.

Oakland Manor is a very lovely place with the rehab center in the middle. The only complaint I have about them is there’s not very good communication between the staff and the families. It’s very favorable, very well lit, well furnished, and brand new. The reception desk is right there, and you can ask questions anytime. They have a lot of activities, and the food and dining area are excellent.
