"StoryPoint Bolingbrook is the perfect place for me and I love the employees. The administration is wonderful, absolutely so caring and so responsive and the physical environment is perfect for me, the dining facilities, and the food. I'm just so happy with it and my family is so happy for me to be here. The staff is so kind, caring, responsive, and patient. They're great. They go all the way from the helpers, the nurses, people behind the desk, and servers in the dining room. I have one of the best apartments in the center. I have a two-bedroom apartment, and it also has two bathrooms in it. It has a walk-in closet, so it's very, very nice. The reason I have two bedrooms is that my husband was here before me and he died in October of this year. He was very happy here, too and so I have remained here. I have an oxygen machine and it's kind of noisy, so I keep it in that second bedroom and I also have an office in there because I still maintain a hobby of making cards for people and that's a perfect place for it. Another great thing about StoryPoint is I'm able to have an animal. The second bathroom is where I keep my cats. Also I keep all my oxygen tanks in there. It is magnificent. I have some friends who have a studio, and they're very nice too. They have so many nice lounges, game rooms, bistros and places to sit outside in good weather and take a little walk. I don't go out as much as most because I'm oxygen restricted. Every room in my apartment has windows, so I have a lot of light. There are plenty of places to go out of the room. My friends say that they don't feel crowded or jammed. They have happy hour on Wednesdays. They either have a singer or instrumentalist come in or sometimes they play games, which is my favorite, Name That Tune, games, and all kinds of fun activities like that. They have other activities, they have crafts, religious services, games, Rummikub, trivia games and things like that. Every night, they have a movie. If I had to put my finger on the reason for the success of this center is its Director Dan. He is the most caring, considerate person. He knows all of us. He cares for us. One day I didn't come down for two or three days, he was up in my room checking to make sure that I was OK and nothing was wrong. He's just amazing. One of the things that's really good about it is the size of the facility. It's not too big."
