The staff are incredibly caring and experienced—over 30 years in the field says it all. What really touched us is their family-centric approach; they make you feel like you're part of their family, not just another resident. My grandma loves the activities, especially the weekly music sessions by the administrator. Plus, the location is super convenient, right near medical facilities and a beautiful park. "My mother has moved into Roseberry Care. It's a memory care facility, and I'm pleased with its services overall. The interaction with the staff is very good. The room is a two-person room. They have single rooms. The facility is well-appointed, nicely decorated facility. They do all kinds of therapy, they provide food, they provide outings, and they have entertainment come in for the residents. They bring beauticians in to pamper the residents."

"Sunrise of Rocklin was very nice, warm, and inviting. The staff was super kind and nice. I saw the residents doing some classes, they also had games, and a library. Everything there was good. People would be comfortable living in that place."

"My mother-in-law moved into Loomis Home Care. So far, the people, the owners, and the staff, the beautiful facility, we're very happy with the area that she's in. I have not personally been inside because of COVID, but my husband did go inside, and he was fine with the interior. The interior of the place, room, back patio facilities, and by the small lake was nice and pleasant. We're very happy with where she's at. They do have activities. We're very happy with the activities that are available to her. They have dancing, singing that we know of, some arts, crafts or activities. I'm not there with her when she does the activities, but she seems to be very happy. We've heard that the food is good from my brother-in-law's friend who has his mother also at the facility. We're very happy with everything. We're not disappointed, or nothing's been negative, so we're fine."

"We toured Vista Roseville Senior Living. It was very nice. The staff was helpful. The one thing we didn't care about was the music they played all the time. We felt that wasn't something my sister-in-law would care for. It wasn't very relaxing. It was upbeat. Maybe they don't have that all the time, but that music going was a little intrusive. The apartments were very nice and well taken care of. The accommodations there for the food and everything looked very nice."

"When my mom and I toured, there were two private rooms available. They would share the spacious bathroom just a few feet away. The house is comfy and clean. Veronica, one of the owners showed us around. Currently, the tenants are two women and two men, and they were very friendly. As we were leaving my mom said to me, now that's more like it. I think she liked it, but we're still looking."

"The senior community I like next would be the Meadow Oaks of Roseville. The salesperson that showed us around was very good. The nursing there seemed excellent, too. We talked to her, and I'd say she was very good as well. The receptionists were OK. The rooms were small. They did not have as much room. They were like 400 square feet. They're very tiny. They have a nice kitchenette area, though. I'd have to say their kitchenette (the way they have it laid out) is nice, but those rooms needed to be bigger at least for our father. They have a beauty salon. They have an activity room with bingo and everything. It's one great big room, and that was nice. In the center part, where the rooms overlook, they have a little courtyard. It's a smaller facility. For a small facility, I thought it was very nice."

"The house is kept very clean and updated, it has a very welcoming atmosphere. The owners are top rated for care that is given. The residents are treated like family. The level of care that is given amazing. Everyone has different needs but that’s no problem. Food was good and adjusted as needs change. Very much a warm home setting. Highly recommend. We are very grateful for the care that is given."

"It has almost been a year since I placed my husband at Country House. The experience has been very emotional because I was the sole caregiver prior to having to place him in a memory care facility. I think that Country House is very unusual in that it is truly a family-oriented facility and the staff tries extremely hard to include their residents' families in so many activities. When I go to visit my spouse, I feel like I am always welcome no matter what time of day, and I feel as if it is my second home. All the caregivers and staff welcome me with hugs and are truly happy to see me as well as some of the other residents. We are all one big family!! If there is one thing that we can work on it's our communication skills. I'm sure this is something that needs to be addressed in most care facilities, and that is making sure all those in charge of care are on the same page in understanding all the variables that need to be addressed in the day-to-day care of each resident. I think it would be helpful if I had a regularly scheduled monthly appointment with a staff member to discuss my husband's care in detail. Another suggestion that came up recently was that it might be really beneficial for the families of Alzheimer's patients to learn more about Hospice and how they can interact and help not just in the last days but as the disease progresses. Hopefully Country House could sponsor a session to learn more about what Hospice can offer to help Alzheimer's patients as well as their families. "

"I had an appointment in Angels Assisted Living Inc. and there was nobody there to talk to me. They weren't aware I was coming. Somebody opened the door. Didn't know who I was and just led me from room to room. I don't have much comment about the room."

"Brookdale is an attractive facility with friendly, professional staff. The food selection in the dining room is consistently good. The cost is about average for a basic unfurnished studio with refrigerator - great for snacks and cold drinks. There are daily activities and exercise programs. Extra services such as medication management, showers, etc. can be added at extra cost as needed. The whole atmosphere is cheerful, clean and bright. The location is convenient to my home and I am happy that my Mom is there."
