Spaulding Rehabilitation

My sister was in Spaulding Rehabilitation for rehab and this place was amazing, it was top-notch. The rehabilitation was amazing, and the doctors and nurses were very receptive. My sister went into an eight-hour period, between four and a half to five hours a day in rehab, and it was very widespread. They went from memory care to practicing speech, to arm control, hand control, leg control, walking in and out, dressing, everything. They also included how to prepare yourself for showers and getting clean. My sister had no ability to even move the arm or leg on her left side, and when they got her down to Spaulding, it was amazing how her recovery came. She's able to use a walker, and speech and everything almost came back to normal. They helped her improve tremendously, the ability of what Spaulding did was like a miracle, it was fantastic, and they worked hard with her. The place is brand new, it's only been there for like three or four years. It's fantastic, well-groomed, well-maintained, very clean, and very aesthetic. It's very well-organized and set up in terms of how you get in and get out, the security is very well done. The food was amazing, it's like gourmet and was very good. There were areas where she could do some socialization with people, so she would actually eat meals with other people, and she got along with her roommate. Most of the activities were pretty O.T., and she would do it with other patients, so the activities were primarily oriented towards rehab.
