Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center

Grateful Daughter

My loved one moved into Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center in early January. They have excellent rehabilitation services and PT and OT personnel. Most of their aides are extremely caring. It's a very small nursing home, and one thing I didn't like so much is that there's not really a comfortable place to go and sit. On the upside, they do seem to care a lot about their patients, take very good care of them, and get to know the family and the patients.

Kimball Farms was fantastic, we can not speak highly enough of them. They are kind and caring from the nurses, kitchen staff, and cleaning crew. The food is delicious and we were able to dine together in the private dining room on occasion. I would recommend them to anyone in need of their services. There were several rehabs closer to home but glad we chose Kimball Farms.

The provider is very good. the nursing staff are very kind and helpful to both people visiting and the residents in the facilities. although the staff are nice and helpful almost all of them are very young and not as knowledgeable as the could be. the facilities in the buildings are very nice. they are kept very clean. there are also many things for the residents to do such as crafts, fitness ect. the food that is provided is not as good as it could be but it is reasonable. it is also very secure for the residents that have mental issues. there are safeguards to keep everyone safe. overall it is a good place.

Kimball Farms was by far the best decision we could've made when deciding where to place my grandmother when she could no longer take care of herself. I had visited a few others beforehand and none of them compared to Kimball. The facility itself is gorgeous and very well taken care of. Nothing is out of place and messes are never left to sit around like I've seen at other facilities. The staff are wonderful, courteous to all the visitors, and I've heard nothing but good things about them from my grandmother as well. She loves the way she's treated there and says that they really make her feel at home. She also loves the food and says it couldn't get any better. They have a dining room for meals, too, where there are many choices and each resident is treated as if they are at a five star restaurant! I couldn't be any happier about our decision to place her at Kimball Farms.

Kimball Farms was a very nice nursing home. I would visit this nursing home to perform community service. In my opinion, the building and location was beautiful. The nursing home is located in the quaint, historical town of Lenox. While this is not an extravagant nursing home, it is simple and nice. During my visits I did encounter several of the staff. All of which were incredibly friendly and appeared to be very attentive to the residents. I visited Kimball Farms a number of times of a couple of years and had a bad experience. There of course were a few residents that were unhappy, but I enjoyed the company of the others. During the time spent with the residents, they had positive feedback about their experiences living there. A few things that were discussed often were the quality of the food and staff. The residents could not speak high enough about the staff. I would say this is one of the better homes in Berkshire county.
