"I would absolutely recommend The Grand at Barnwell Nursing Home. My husband was there for over five weeks, in physical therapy recovery. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They have an advanced rehabilitation program which helped my husband to get motivated, mobile and walk again! My husband’s stay on the 3rd floor was a pleasant surprise. The staff were responsive, helpful, very funny and so patient with my husband. A shout out to the aides on the 3rd floor, especially to Abraham and Adrian! They are so kind and very funny. They made a difficult time so much easier with kindness and a keen sense of humor; both took the time to make sure that my husband was comfortable and comforted, particularly when he was having bad days. They helped with showers, made certain he had a proper diet, and would often check in on him to see what he needed. And no matter how many times my husband needed to be more comfortable in bed with pillows or supports (he asked for help a lot!), they always responded promptly with compassion and kindness. I didn’t know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly. They greeted us with a hello and a friendly smile. They made a stressful time so much easier; they explained to me what was happening with my husband’s care, what to expect and what needed to be done. Barnwell was wonderful to my husband myself and my family. I am forever grateful for their kind care and compassion."

"My friend is staying at Fairview Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and so far, the staff has been cooperative and have kept me informed because, with COVID, you're not able to see the whole facility. I haven't seen the room itself, we just go to a visiting room. He thinks the food is good, so that's encouraging and I know they have movies and things like that. The facility looks clean also."

"This is a rather clean and well run home. The exterior facade is rather dull yet I found the inside is quite lovely. The employees are a pleasant bunch and are quite attentive. Whilst they work at a brisk pace they seem quite happy as they busy about with daily chores. The infirmed are noticeably content in their surroundings. "

"Kimball Farms was fantastic, we can not speak highly enough of them. They are kind and caring from the nurses, kitchen staff, and cleaning crew. The food is delicious and we were able to dine together in the private dining room on occasion. I would recommend them to anyone in need of their services. There were several rehabs closer to home but glad we chose Kimball Farms. "

"Well when I first found out that my friend would now have to be admitted to a nursing home I was very skeptical that would adjust in such a positive way. I visit my friend on a daily basis at different times of the day. On all occasions I have been very impressed with the care and kindness of the staff. I was just there today and they had a wonderful celebration for fat Tuesday with a special dessert and a great singer and the people were having such a great time. You can see the people that work there are very genuine in there feelings for the residents. This is not the first time that I have enjoyed the activities. They have many activities that the residents can take part in every day if they care to, When I ask my friend how she is doing, she says I can't complain.. she's 94 and and been my friend for over 30 years. When I leave her it makes me feel so happy that she's happy and well taken care of. Is it perfect, well when you hit that age and there's a loving smile thats the closest you can get to perfect. Keep up the good work."

I want to give a special thanks to the maintenance crew for the care & compaction that they give to our parents in their time of need! I love you all Thank you! I don't think we give enough thanks to all at Evergreen Commons from the Supervisors to the people that physically serve our parents everyday! Even the front desk that are first to take our call's to get us to whom we need to talk to the kitchen staff that makes their meals Thank you. Well I am so Thankful for your continued care giving. Also the aides Thank you from the bottom of my heart you make my Mom smile & laugh. Believe me before Mom came to Evergreen Commons she was not doing well at all. "Laurel Lake seemed very nice. It is an assisted living facility and they seem very flexible. He can go there for a week or two weeks, if my father wants to come up and visit, which is great. He doesn't need assisted living yet, he just needs independent living, and they were willing to look into that too. So I was very impressed by their ability to be flexible. The rooms were small but well-maintained. The staff gave me a very nice tour and they were very welcoming and also very willing to make any kind of accommodations necessary. "

"I have been in Springside Rehab & Nursing Center for 3 weeks now. I think it's very nice. They have mostly caring and very informative people. I have a nice little room all by myself, and I've only been eating here. I haven't gone out to eat but they do have a dining area and the food is pretty good and nutritious. The cleaning people are in and out of here a lot to keep the place pretty clean. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. When you see somebody, they ask you if you need anything or if they could get anything for you. They are very professional."

"They reached out to me. We stopped in and visited my step daughter last month, a couple of days after I put on for the website to get information about her. I did get a hold of them and was able to go down and see her. Everything went well with the visit. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My step daughter's room was very nice. It was spacious. I believe they take good care of her there. There's nothing more I can ask for. They're doing their job. It seems the residents there are well taken care of and it was a clean facility. "

"Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing was very pleasant and the surroundings were very nice. The rooms were very nice and the people were very accommodating. The person that showed us around and the admissions office was very good and very helpful. The dining room was also nice. The only problem was it would have to be self-pay and we couldn't do that. So, that was the only setback."

"This nursing home is under new owners and the care is outstanding! Now called "Mount Carmel Care Center" the facility looks new, and the people there really understand what they are doing. I would recommend them to anybody that needs rehab. "

"Our grandfather stayed there for a few years and he was well cared for. They made him very comfortable and always had activities for him to do. The staff are very friendly and care very much about the residents. The rooms are well kept and many areas have been renovated. Overall this is a great place for elderly family members to stay and feel safe."
