"I liked The Lodge at Marlton. It didn't have a lot of grounds, but the apartment was beautiful. The staff was amazing, and they were very accommodating. They had a 2-bedroom apartment, and it was very spacious, with a small closet. There were common areas. There was a fitness center, a computer room, and a library."

"Prince of Peace I was OK, but it wasn't exactly the type of setting that we were looking for. I didn't see many amenities or activities. The owner has a room for five, but she has four right now. It's an assisted living care home. The one she showed us was a shared room but nobody's in that room now, so it will only be my mother. The size is OK. It was not to our liking, but it was well kept. I only met the owner. Her husband was there and there was a care person there for the weekend. The owner gave a lot of information about what she does and how she operates. She was good. I just wasn't too comfortable with the layout."

"I went to see George Assisted Living Facility's assisted living. It was okay and the staff was friendly. They were watching the news when I got there because it was in the evening. The staff said that they do activities but she didn't say too much about what they do. I meant to ask if they take them out for activities but with the Covid, of course, nobody knows much of anything. I should have asked about game boards, bingo, and that stuff but I didn't get the chance. It was okay though and they kept it clean."

" My Mom has been a resident at Lifesprings Eldercare since July of 2018. I was moving Mom from a place I loved to a place closer to me and was worried about how it would go! From the moment we walked into Lifesprings I knew without a doubt I had made the right decision! The owners are communicative and keep families up to date on everything! The caregivers love my Mom as much as I do!! In addition, the activities director keeps them happy and engaged with field trips to plays, farms and restaurants and games and activities within the home. Every single holiday is celebrated and the houses decorated. Every resident’s birthday is celebrated whether they know its their birthday or not!! There are tea parties and a Dec Holiday party where all of the families get to interact and enjoy each other’s company!! It’s just a wonderful place operated by dedicated professionals! I highly recommend Lifesprings Eldercare, it’s second to none! Loretta V."

"My brother-in-law was in Sunrise at Mount Vernon for about 2 weeks. He was in memory care. His room was very cozy, warm, and friendly. I felt the same way about the staff. They're very accommodating and very accessible. Unfortunately, my brother-in-law needs more than what is there because his medical situation has changed. His room was standard, clean, and recently painted. It fit the bill for what he needed. He wasn't there long enough but where he was, at the memory care, they would try to engage the residents that they had. There was an outside area and a common area for them too. That's where they would sit with him quite a bit because if left to his own devices, he would just sit in his room. He enjoyed their food too. We have no qualms with anything about them."

"I went to Henson Creek Assisted Living. There was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't what I was looking for. I was looking for something more self-maintained facility. It wasn't suitable for what I was looking for. They showed me two rooms. One was bigger than the other with the same layout. There's a bed, a chair, a side table, and a bathroom. Then they had a common area with a TV, a couple of sofas, and chairs. They had an eating area with a few tables and chairs. However, I'm looking for a place where I can have my own kitchen and washer and dryer. The person who toured me around was Diane, and she was very pleasant and very informative. She explained pretty much what they were all about. It was a great tour. If I was looking for a place like that, I would recommend it, but that's not for me. I had a meal there and it was awesome. It was enjoyable, and it was warm. They had vegetables and chicken. It was very delightful. Everything was very clean, and the presentation was okay. "

"We had a good experience visiting Beulah Spring Assisted Living LLC. The lady was nice on the tour and explained everything in detail. I just didn't think it'd be a good fit for my grandmother. It was someone's home that they'd converted into an assisted living and they kind of expanding/doing something in the basement. I wasn't too impressed with that."

"The staff of Spring Hills is very good, very friendly and not a bit lazy. The rooms are adequate. "

"I've moved into the Belnor Senior Residences. I love this community. I've met a few people here, and everyone that I've met has been very friendly. Even just walking by, going in or out the door, the people are very friendly and make eye contact and say hello. I've had no problems in my apartment. I love it. It's great. It's perfect just for me. The staff that I have met were very pleasant. I've heard from other people that you got to watch this and watch that, but I haven't had any problems with them at all. They've been very pleasant and easy to talk to. They had a poetry reading on Saturday. On Sunday, people do basically whatever they want to do, but some of us get together and have dinner together. It's like a potluck. There are some of us that play cards. Some of us do line dancing. Every Monday morningthere's a coffee social. There's bible study, listening to music, playing cards, and there's Pokeno. I'm having a good time. We prepare our own food, but there is a food bank that comes here whatever day they pick, and they will bring food for whoever needs it."

"I will move into The Lewis Apartments. Everything was lovely, and the leasing department was very kind. They have living quarters, as far as the reception hall and the rooftop. I feel like I'd be comfortable with it. The place is quiet. I've seen a part of the apartment and feel it will accommodate me, and it looks spacious."

"We visited Cogir of Old Town, Alexandria, and toured for assisted living. The tour was fine, and it was a nice building. The lady was very nice and told us everything that we needed to know. It was right there on the corner, and once we got inside, it was very nice. It had a very nice appearance and interior, and it was well laid out. They showed us the layout and what they do there. I kinda like it a little bit because, in their system, they had a gentleman who was the coordinator of the activities. He showed us all the games, and that's one of the things that I like about it. They played checkers, and they had puzzles and stuff like that, so there were a lot of things to do. They had everything that you needed, like a salon, where you could do your nails and hair. They had a nice place where you could walk. They also showed us the outside patio, and it was very nice. The person who gave us the tour was at the door when we came in, and asked us if we wanted refreshments or if there was anything we wanted before she started her tour. After the tour was over, she asked if there were any questions that we needed her to answer, and she answered them. We didn't eat, but they showed us the dining area, which is very clean and very well-kept."
