We provide scheduled activities daily and an Activity Director is on staff to organize and plan a fun-filled day for all residents. Outside the facility, day trips are scheduled and we are looking forward to all the adventures that lay ahead for our residents. Fern Terrace believes in the motto, "Live Well, Laugh Often, and Learn Much!" Home health and physical therapy services are available to the residents. Fern Terrace provides an in-house doctor and psychiatrist but each resident may choose his or her physician. Medicine is given by trained staff in accordance with doctor's orders. Fern Terrace of Owensboro is located on the banks of the Ohio River. The beautiful grounds provide a setting unmatched in Owensboro. 8 acres of fountains, flower beds, blooming trees, beautiful birds and walking paths surround the Facility. Swings and benches are arranged so that the residents can enjoy the boats that travel the Ohio River. Fourth of July is a true celebration with music played by Owensboro Symphony and grand fireworks. Fern Terrace has private and semi-private rooms available. You can decorate your room or use our comfortable furnishings. Families are always invited to visit and enjoy the pleasant surroundings.
