"My mother's stay in Cumberland Pointe has been fairly positive so far. Of all the facilities I visited, it is the only one that I saw where residents were socializing in the common areas. I thought that was a good sign. The activity program is okay. They have two field trips a week that my mother likes. The room that she is in is fine. The food they are serving is good and healthy. However, I'm not thrilled with the level of medical care they're giving my mother. I just learned that they stopped giving my mother physical therapy last June and didn't tell me about it. I'm not happy about that. Also their medical director is on leave and I think right now this is the biggest deficit because the doctors who are covering for him are not doing a very good job. I can't rely on them and I have to take my mother to outside doctors for everything. Also this facility doesn't offer enough transportation so I'm concerned about how my mother would get to her appointment if I'm unavailable. "

"Horrible experience this time on the rehab wing,they let my pain meds run out,told staff my bladder n left kidney were really hurting(I've had kidney failure twice,I suffer from chronic kidney disease)requested an ambulance they denied me told me to calm down there was nothing wrong they done blood work and a urine test came back positive for a urinary tract infection n bladder infection,my husband had to empty my trash strip my bed n put clean sheets on it for me,had a male aide that was drunk and he touched me inappropriately one nite this place needs shut down Pray I NEVER have to come back here"

"St. Mary's was a blessing to my mom and our family. She was only there for 3 months before she passed, but she was so happy there. "My mother is a resident of The Springs at Lafayette. The staff is wonderful. My mom, the first evening that she was there, was so cute. She was there for dinner, she took one bite of the food and she said, "Oh, this tastes so good." Then she had the coffee and she said, "Oh, this coffee tastes wonderful." You could tell that the food wasn't very good, and the coffee was horrible where she came from. They have so many different activities. They give you a monthly calendar. On Friday evenings, they have some entertainment that comes in, and then the residents can have a glass of wine or a cocktail to have during that activity. It's just nice. The rooms are very nice, and they have what's called an activity cart that comes around every other day. They have books on it, homemade snacks, and they have silly things like the big glasses. The residents can pick things off in the cart, and word puzzles too. To check-in, you have a QR code on your phone, and everything's electronic for check-in. So, checking in is so easy, you don't have to wait for staff to come to the desk. You just pull up your QR code to this like an iPad and then put your face on it and you're good to go for check-in. There's plenty of parking whenever you come to visit. I just can't say enough, it's nice. The most important part is my mom is very happy. The dining room looks like a restaurant. The staff is so nice and friendly and helpful; they already know me by name. You get what you paid for. They allow children to come to visit. It is wonderful for the residents to be able to have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren visit and keep their spirits. It's right across from Colombian Park, so you can go over there and have a picnic. Their courtyard is beautiful."

"I had a friend that was there at The Springs at Lafayette. He had a stroke, and he was there for a short period of time. I know that his wife was there also at the same time because she didn't wanna be alone, so they made accommodations for her. I'm sure she had to pay for that. I think she had a separate room, and it was kind of a temporary thing. His room was very, very roomy, very bright, and very modern. The facility was very new. There's exercise, the dining facility was good and very open, and I think they got a library. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating. I visited about a year ago before Covid."

"My mom has been living at Signature HealthCARE for almost a year now. The administrative staff is very friendly and very helpful. However, we have found that they don't seem to have enough nurses and aides to really go around. We are not entirely satisfied with my mom's care there. They're very friendly, but it is just we don't feel there's enough people working there. The rooms are very typical nursing home rooms. There are usually two residents to a room. Each has a bed, a night stand, half of the closet, and a place to put a TV if they have one. They have a decent amount of activities too. I know they do crafts, they bring in animals to visit the residents, and they can also provide transportation to doctor's appointments and to the store, though I don't know how often they do that. The dining room is very beautiful. It is big and open with lots of tables and a whole lot of windows, which makes it very bright. They also have a lady who comes and plays piano, which my mom really enjoys. "

"I found the staff at Five Star Residences of Lafayette to be welcoming and caring. The facility was very well maintained, indoors and outdoors, and the residents that I interacted with seemed very pleased with their surroundings. I thought the amenities were excellent too and I was very pleased with it. They have a two-bedroom unit that has a detached garage and that garage is going to make a difference for me. They also offer field trips, classes in painting, and different types of art, and music programs."

"I have decided to move into Glasswater Creek of Lafayette. I chose them because of their location, their amenities, and their staff. The staff was very helpful and very friendly, and all of the residents were smiling. They have studios and 1-bedroom apartments, and they're just lovely. It's a very tasteful and elegantly decorated facility. When I walked in, it reminded me of a hotel. It's very nice. They have a nicely appointed exercise room. They have a large game room, a large computer room, a library, and a lounge for watching movies and TV."

"I like that Aster Place has an opening for my friend and she could move in once they have checked with her doctors and financials. It is a very pleasant place to go. It isn't really big, but it isn't small either. They have different activities. One of the things she likes is that they have transportation to doctors. The staff who gave the tour was very professional and very knowledgeable. She answered all the questions. After the tour, they sent my friend home with banana bread, and it was very good. Also, they have an enclosed courtyard that my friend's room will be facing out onto, and it looks very inviting."

"My father-in-law is currently at Creasy Springs Health Campus. I would highly recommend this place. It's a very friendly atmosphere, and he seems to enjoy being there. They have social events, and they go out on excursions. The staff is very caring. The place is extremely clean, and they've done well keeping my father-in-law clean. The nurses are caring and very helpful. They'll answer any questions that we have."
