My wife has been using the facility as an outpatient since the middle of November 2023. She had a stroke caused by bleeding on the brain. She had no physical problems but she lost her ability to speak and form sentences. She started both speech and occupational therapy at this time. She goes 3 hours a week to SP and 2 hours to OP. We have been very pleased with both the speech therapist, Jennifer, and the occupational therapist, Morgan, during this time. Then an issue arrived in early February where they lost access to the web. This was not just at this location but company wide. I don’t know what the problem really is but it’s a little ridiculous that it is still going on for over two weeks. The company needs to step up and get it fixed. Without the use of the web it has been very challenging for the therapist to come up with beneficial ways to continue to help my wife in her rehab. PLEASE GET THIS FIXED.

After my bilateral knee replacement surgery I went to Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital for in patient rehab and following my release, I have spent four weeks there in out patient rehab. The quality of my therapy both during my in patient time and now in my outpatient work has been beyond excellent. Having experienced rehabilitation therapy at another center after arthroscopic surgeries I can honestly say that my experience at Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital has been superior. The gym is open, not crowded, and very well equipped. The therapists are friendly, caring, detailed in their instructions and particularly knowledgeable in knee replacement therapy. They pushed me, helped me, encouraged me, and made my recovery to this point absolutely fantastic. The wide variety of work I have done with them has increased my mobility, strengthened my muscles, increased my balance, and boosted my confidence. I highly recommend the Lafayette Regional Rehabilitation Hospital for both in patient and out patient therapy for knee replacement patients. They are truly excellent in every aspect of therapy.

The therapy and facilities at Lafayette are wonderful, but the support staff is lousy. It was a horrible experience for me. I felt they were uncaring. They don’t have enough staff, and the staff they have is not properly trained.
