"Oak Hill Terrace Senior Living was a very nice facility. It was cheerful and upbeat. The people seemed very nice. We got cookies. It was a little bit more of an industrial location, which was the one negative we had, but the community itself was very nice, clean, and friendly. It was very well maintained."

"Emerald Ridge was very clean and well cared for. The rooms are a little bit smaller and not every room has a private bathroom. The dining area was very nice and the kitchen was much smaller. They have a separate section that focuses on the memory care but we are not yet looking for that. If we were specifically looking for that, that would be a good option. The staff was very good and very helpful. They gave us a very nice tour. "

"The Arboretum Senior Living was nice. It was not as clean as we would have liked. My husband saw some spilled food on the floor. And I think it was a little bit of a fly problem in certain areas. The staff was nice, friendly, and willing to answer any questions. The rooms were appropriately sized. There was a patio out on the front door, but that was right on the parking lot. It was less than ideal as far as the atmosphere."

"I visited Charleston House Assisted Living in Beaver Dam. The tour I did of their assisted living was great, and the place was great; it's just not going to work for my husband. The person who gave the tour was wonderful, and the rooms shown to me were big. They had different activities going on. People were playing cards, and there were those in the other unit who were also busy doing something else."

"I am in Berkshire Oconomowoc. It is nice and clean. I am still meeting people, and I like it so far. I like playing cards. We have a kitchen, and we prepare our own food. They have a coffee room, and at 8 o'clock in the morning, everyone is supposed to go down for coffee. The staff is helpful when you ask for something. "

"My mom lives in Towner Crest. It was very, very nice. It is owned by Presbyterian Homes. They did a first-class job. The staff members were great. They have activities. They have a workout area and a big chapel. It was great value for the money. They have a big patio, a putting green, and several different games."

"We did a tour of Heritage Lake Country. The facility had a lot of amenities. It was very clean and attractive. They had a lot of activities for people. I did not try the food, but the food seemed like it was outstanding. The staff who gave me the tour was named Michelle. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all our questions. She took plenty of time to make sure that we were all comfortable with the facility. She answered any questions we had about it. The rooms were spacious, nice looking, and nicely appointed. They had everything. It was very good."
