"Independence Village has been a wonderful residence for my father. He still is able to enjoy his independence as well as receive help with his daily ADL’s with the on-site care company. The dining room staff are caring and attentive and the chef offers delicious meals. The location is also very peaceful as it is tucked off the road. Knowing that my father is well taken care of is very reassuring."

"My dad was fortunate enough to move here the last 9 months of his life (I wish we had moved him sooner). The 2 bedroom that we wanted had to be renovated and it turned out beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about this facility, and it is all due to the staff and house manager. From day 1, Meghan, who became his favorite caregiver, enthusiastically greeted us. From that day on, his care was exemplary. They worked with us on any issues, medical or otherwise, they made sure he ate and they showed the utmost care and respect for him. They were able to pivot as his needs increased and work with whatever came up. I so appreciate how loving and nurturing everyone here is. If your loved one needs care, I highly recommend Boardman Lake Glens (he was at Brigadoon)."

"I toured Village at Bay Ridge Senior Community. It's a much older place. It's on the west side of town where I like to be, but they didn't have anything available. It's a very nice place. The people were great. They were awesome. The one I spoke with was very, very nice. They have all this stuff for people to do. They have buses that they take people to the grocery store or whatever if they don't drive. There's a gym, a library, and rooms to use if your family comes in for something."

"I am a resident of LaFranier Woods. I have been here since it opened up and I’m very pleased and happy living here. There are so many things to do. There is a workout room, a library, a game room with a pool table, we have a craft room, a salon, and a wonderful dining room with a terrific chef. The food is wonderful and is very healthy. The office personnel are very caring and helpful with anything you need. We have a maintenance man also. I have a two bedroom one and a half bath. I believe it’s about 960 ft.² plenty of room for one to two people. I enjoy playing games here at the apartment complex. Our Activity Director is very vivacious and has a wide variety of activities. There is a bus that takes you to the groceries store once a week for those that prefer to grocery shop that way. All in all I’m very happy here. It is my home now."
