I have lived here for about a year and a half. I have enjoyed it immensely. Very friendly people live and work here. I recommend it for people 65 years old and older. We get three meals a day plus snacks. We get activities that are great. We have exercise programs for 45 minutes at least 2 times a week. There is also bingo and occasionally we will get entertainment from the community. That is great and very enjoyable. We have sing a longs and bell choir. During the holidays, the staff is wonderful in surprising us with different kinds of activities that we don't do on a regular basis. We also have someone come in to do chair yoga with us. To me, it is a great place to live. The staff is very helpful.

They have a very dedicated staff but like everyone else is short-handed. I have been diligent during the covid crisis.

My wife and I have lived here at heritage woods of Charleston for over two years. We are so happy with our decision to move here. There are activities to participate in, theee meals a day, housekeeping each week, and CNAs and nurses to help with our medical needs. We are very happy with our choice to move here.

My family and I visited this facility before I moved here. We were given a tour and in general our questions were answered. Staff will do your laundry if requested. There is also a laundry room on each floor if you want to do your own laundry. We also have a wonderful Activities Director. If you like to read there is a wonderful library and seating area on the second floor.

My wife and I have lived here at Heritage Woods of Charleston Illinois for about two years. We are very happy with our choice to move here. The entire staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. We have three meals provided daily, cleaning of our apartment and activities offered.

We saw Heritage Woods. I liked it, but it is out of our price range. They have lots of activities. There are interactions with the residents, which is good. They always have staff members there. The grounds are fine. We saw a 1-bedroom apartment and it is fairly good size. They don't have full kitchens, but they have mini kitchens. All the showers have seats built into them, so people can sit down when they take a shower. It is also well lit and very comfortable. They take them on outings, and they have a Wii bowling tournament. It seems like they have different activities going on everyday. It is very nice. I'm very pleased with how it looks; however, it is a little pricey. We just met one staff member, but she seemed nice.
