"The Carriages of Mt. Zion's property was clean. The people that worked there were very nice, really caring, and had a good rapport with the residents. It was good. It's a place I would want to be. They have a library. They have several activity rooms. They have a really nice space where you could just sit and relax outside. They have good outside spaces. They have some green space that is really, really nice."

"The tour at Summerset Assisted Living was great. The person who took us around was very good. Everything was nice, neat, and clean. The information that they had given us was great. They explained everything simply, and they were very professional. They did everything thoroughly, clearly, and gave us literature, and I understood everything. The common areas were organized and nice."

"I moved into The Palms of Lake Spivey. I'm in an independent living, and when I need assistance, I can regress there. I can stay there till it's over. I have a two-bedroom apartment that's fully furnished with a regular refrigerator. They have a regular kitchen there. They provide two meals a day. The people that I've come in contact with have been wonderful. The food is great. I haven't had anything that I didn't like. We have activities every day. They're different things. We can play cards, we can have ice cream, and they do something different every day. If you want to go out to eat in a restaurant, they take groups out to eat. They're doing everything that people of my age can do."

"We visited Monarch Villa at Stockbridge. The staff was very professional; they looked and acted professional. The upkeep was amazing. They had several different patio areas and outdoor areas. There was a lot of windows where you could see out into the patios. The gardens and grounds were well kept. The inside was very elegant and well-maintained. It did not have a smell. Sometimes you go into those places and there's this old place smell, but this place didn't. The residents were all clean, tidy, and were walking around engaged in activities. It was very good. We went late in the day, and they were being served dinner. Some were being served dinner and some were involved in activities. We went into the shower areas and it was nice. The room that we were shown that my mother was going to get was very tidy, very clean, and was a very nice size."

"The Oaks at Douglasville is a beautiful place. The rooms had good space. I was given information about the level of care that would be included. The person who interviewed me was very good at providing the kind of information that would be helpful in making a decision. The activity level and things that they do are great. The person I spoke with was clear in terms of what they did and the service that was being provided. I think it was a very good place. I was happy to see that even though they have a menu for a particular meal on a particular day or time, the residents have alternatives. If there's something that they didn't like, they had the option of a nice broad amount of food that they could get."

"The Harmony at Douglasville is very pretty and very organized. There are a lot of things to do, and all the employees seem to be great and helpful. I have not tried the food but the menu looks awesome. They have good choices and it's all cooked by a chef. We toured their assisted living and the studio we looked at has a small fridge and a microwave."

"I toured K & W Care Homes. It wasn't a bad place. It just didn't fit what I was looking for. The facility looked pretty clean and well-kept. The rooms were smaller than what I was looking for. The staff appeared to care. They were preparing lunch when I arrived. The food looked okay and looked healthy."

"Hello, my mother is happy here she has a large space and looks out at the courtyard. She enjoys the food and staff and everyone spoils her that she doesn’t want to leave to go out anymore. The staff is caring and informative and knows about caring for dementia patients better than any facility we have toured. We have not regretted putting our mom there."

"I had an in-person visit to Oaks at Eagles Landing's assisted living and it was very nice. My spouse and I were impressed with it. It has lots of nice rooms and the dining room was good. The residents we saw also seem to be doing well there and have some activities to go to. It was pretty much a complete setup and has everything we need. The person who gave us the tour seemed very well-informed and personable."

"The people at Oaks at Stockbridge were nice, but it seemed a little dark and drab to me. It had a walk-in shower for the residents. They could take a bath instead of just the showers if they wanted to. The thing I liked the least was that it was dark and it had a nursing home feel. The staff were great, very polite, and nice people. The layout was fine. It was not spread out. Rooms were accessible to the cafeteria and the things. It had more of a homey feel, and was not that big. The staff were top shelf."

"We have found Brookdale Newnan. We are moving in gradually. We have a two-bedroom-two-bathroom room with a small living room and a kitchen. So far, so good. We like it. It's very nice compared to others. I only visited another one, which I liked, but it was just too expensive, and I couldn't get in there. I like the two-bedroom-two-bath and the price was good, but they're going to have a rate increase soon. My husband and I had budgeted just so much for this. My daughter might have to help us depending on the increase. We're not happy with that. We just got here and we're going to be hit with an increase. That sounds kind of bad to me. So that's my only complaint. The staff are very nice. The housekeeper has just left the house, and she was lovely. It's a very nice community. I'm happy here. We have not partaken yet in activities because we are still trying to get out of our other house. It's just so much. As soon as we're in completely, we'll take part in the activities. They have a calendar that they publish, and we use the calendar to decide if we're going to participate or not. It's very nice. I would recommend it to anyone. I've talked to other residents, and they have a food committee that is going to meet this week. Every morning at our door, we get a menu of the day's main meal, which is considered lunch, and the light meal, which is considered dinner. We have a choice as to what we want. The food is not tremendous, but it's okay. My only suggestion for improvement is the food. "

"Dad is in Woodland. It's fine, it was quite good, and everybody there was pretty nice. The rooms were nice, the ceilings were tall, and it felt nice and open. He watches TV, he gets dinner, and that's pretty much what he's interested in. He said the food was pretty good. So far, everyone we've met has been very nice, and everything seemed to be going well. "
