My mother was at Meadowbrook Health Care for respite care. She had been three times. She liked the food. They seemed to be kind of consistent with putting her in the same room. I've had some clothes missing from there. People said they would call me back, but they didn't, and I didn't particularly like that. The place was clean. The nurses were attentive. If something happened or if my mother slipped or anything like that, they would call me. I could go out of town and do whatever I have to do, and I know she is there and totally taken care of. There was some paperwork that needed to be filled out. They were good with me coming by and taking care of it. They seemed to have enough staff. It's secure. You have to be checked in and out, which is good. The staff seemed to be present in and around the facilities. You have people in the hallways in wheelchairs and all these people seemed to be overseeing them here and there. I like the staff. And the rooms were big, and the TVs were small. The bathrooms were large. They're adequate.

My mom went here for physical/occupational therapy. Meadowbrook is horrible. My mother developed a huge bed sore and they told me it was a skin tear. A tech jacked my mom by her shirt because she thought my mom was not responding to her purposely but my mom's health was failing. I reported the incident and of course it was swept under the rug. The care and treatment my mother received was horrible. I had my mother sent back to the hospital. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

We went to Meadowbrook nursing home. They were ready to admit my sister-in-law, but she backed out. They were very helpful there. It was very nice, and I don't have any complaints about it. We saw a double room for two people that was small but had a TV, so we were pleased with it. The staff was excellent. When we walked down the hall, the workers spoke to everyone and were very congenial.

Meadowbrook is horrible because the nurses are very mean. I just don't like the place. They don't give them enough to eat, and they don't give them snacks during the five hours in between meals. The overview seems clean, but once you've been there for a little while, you will realize how dingy it is. As for activities, they have nothing that anyone can do. Each of the nurses has to interact with the patients though. My mom has a bandage over her collarbone for dialysis. She is allergic to the bandage, and she has to have it changed once a day. It took three days for me calling them every day before they finally changed it. They never had time to do anything, and I don't know if they are understaffed
