I visited Spanish Oaks. The rooms were fine. Everything was fine, clean, and in place. I liked it. I would recommend it to others if they had a person in the family with dementia.

I visited Spanish Oaks Retreat. I thought it to be a nice facility in appearance and location. The grounds of the facility are beautiful. The common areas of the facility are clean and clutter free. The patient's rooms are generally organized and clean. However I do have concerns. While visiting I noticed a staff member asleep in the common area while she was on duty. There were several residents in her care at that time. During lunch time I noticed several residents needing assistance with eating and no one was assisting them. I do not think the staff is professional. Even though Spanish Oaks Retreat looks very nice in appearance I have concerns about the quality of care that is given. I would not recommend this facility.
