We toured. The design wasn't appealing to me or my wife, because when you walk in, the welcome center or whatever you want to call it, the cafeteria, the eating area is right there. That just seemed kind of odd that it was right up front. When you walk in, you have a little seating area, two chairs, a lamp, and on the corner an end table with a TV and refrigerator. You go around the corner, and you have your bed. The staff was just learning. He was new.

I toured. From what I could gather, they stay in tune with the residents. They give them a schedule so they know what days of the week they're doing what, and they know when they're having outings. They're even in contract with the transportation agency if they need rides to their appointments and things like that. They have a lovely dining room. They have I think 2 or 3 levels available. The staff was very friendly. The dining area, the way it's set up was very beautiful and very sociable.

Oaks at Habersham was very good looking. It was clean. The staff was very, very competent, and pleasant. She gave me all the programs and everything. I got literature. We had a long interview. The residents were active. There's so few of them, and they were communicating with the staff. There seemed to be a good relationship between the staff and the tenants. The dining area was large and very nice.

It was very nice. It was very enlightening for me. I just fell in love with the place. It's gorgeous. All the staff that I saw were very friendly and caring. Everybody was going about doing their work. The rooms were very nice, large, roomy, and wheelchair accessible. So that was good. The staff who gave me the tour seemed to be well-informed, pleasant, and helpful. I didn't observe any activities. Several people were in their wheelchairs, and some were out on the porch sitting in the sun because it was a very warm, nice, sunny day. I was there in the morning time, but I didn't have any activities going on at that time. The dining area nice. They had set up large tables, which were spaced about. It was clean and everything.

It was very clean. I got to speak to some of the residents, and they all seemed pretty well cared for and clean. They showed me a garden, so they had some gardening. They had some activities, like bingo. They had an activity room. The staff was very informative.

We're going with the folks here and pretty close to getting my mother in probably within the next week or two. We liked their events, and what they're able to provide for the tenants there as far as different events and community bingo. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They have a microwave and a refrigerator. They have a screened-in porch area.
