"My mother-in-law is a resident of Governor's Glen Assisted Living. It's close to us, she likes it over there, and the people always act really nice. They're nice to her and nice to us. The rooms are good, the food is good, and she apparently likes it. The staff members I have dealt with go out of their way to be nice to you. They have a TV for them to watch, they have somebody come in and sing, and they have church services. The atmosphere is really good, it's clean, and it doesn't smell bad."

"We went for an interview at Angels PCH LLC and the young lady was great. She works with us no matter what problem we have. She was very nice. The place is really clean and smells good. I got to visit all the people that were staying there, and they were very pleased. I was there to visit the people who stayed there. It was great. We've got to be volunteers to play bingo games with them, me and my wife because we're in our 70s and they invited us back. They told us to come back anytime we want. They've got games and everything. They had a courtyard."

"My mother is currently a resident and has been for the past 6+ years. I am appalled at the negative review that was given to Magnolias. That is totally NOT the experience my mother has had. My father visited her nearly every single day she has been there, well until his passing 10/30/14, and I know first hand myself what a nice, clean, and inviting place the Magnolias is. I know they have cared for my mother lovingly even when she hasn't been easy to be around. When my father passed recently, the staff cried with us, they loved him as much as they love her. When we asked if one of us girls could stay with her a few nights so she wouldn't have to be alone in her sorrow, not only did they feed us, they actually offered us another room with 2 empty beds or the option to bring another bed in her own room... At no extra charge. As for the food served, my daddy ate with her often and said the food was outstanding. The staff also makes most meals from scratch with a variety of meals served through out the week. They also accommodate my mother's diabetic needs and picky taste buds. In the next month or two we will have to move our mom out of the Magnolias because she needs to be closer to family. We only pray we are able to find a place for her as nice, kind, and caring as this place is. Please, before believing any negative comment about any facility, investigate the place yourself. Ask residents and their actual family about their experience at the facility. Don't just believe the first impression of a prospective client. It is not fair to your loved one or the facility. No place is 100% perfect 100% of the time. Maybe something was going on the day this other commenter came? Possibly. The review was just not fair or accurate for the long run. The Magnolias is wonderful! "

"Dream Catcher is five minutes from my house. It's right down the street from me. It's the only facility that did not have the tiniest urine smell. I was at my wits end when I went down there, but the staff was really nice. And since I've been down there I've gotten some. This place is more homey and people weren't parked in front of a wall on a wheelchair. "

"Choosing a place for your parent is not easy, but we were so lucky to have found Medlock gardens. They went above and beyond in being kind and helpful for our Dad. The staff makes the difference. The facility is not large, but the rooms are studios and updated. Many have an outside patio. The chef worked hard to make things our dad liked. As we needed hospice at the end, when they were not available one of the aids worked with us to stay by his side 24/7. They made all the difference. I can definitely recommend this is a good environment for your loved ones. "

"We have chosen The Reserve at Peachtree City. I have been there several times actually. It is for assisted living and memory care because I have one parent for each. They were wonderful. The staff was excellent. I had no problems whatsoever with anything that they explained to us. My parents haven't moved there yet, but the rooms were more than adequate. For their age and living level, they were more than adequate. The living atmosphere was terrific there. The community layout was excellent. I was very impressed with the place. I have not eaten there, but I have been there twice during meal times. The food looked better than most of those residents were getting at home. It looked home cooked. I was there for lunch yesterday, and the dining room was packed. Everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. The dining area was open, airy, bright, and cheerful, even on the dreary day. In fact, that's one of the things I liked about that entire facility. It was a very open facility, very airy, and light. It did not feel boxed in or closed at all, which I really liked specifically because my parents are coming from Florida. I did tour the memory care, and it was more than adequate for my mother. My father is stone deaf. He is not going to be participating in anything that requires any hearing whatsoever. As far as like bingo and things like that, he's not going to be participating in that. There were plenty of great amenities. They had a salon. They had a library. They had puzzles and movies. They had plenty to offer."

"My mother has been living her for 8 months and it has changed her life. She is happier, active, and has lots of new friends. The food is great and people upbeat. The staff organizes trips to plays, concerts and shopping. I feel like she (and I) have found the perfect place for seniors. You will not be sorry you bought a condo here. I have no financial or other interest in the development. "

"Prema at Ashton Hills was very nice and elegant. It was a little bit more pricey and upper class. They have activities. The manager was very nice. In fact, she's contacted me a couple of times since then."

"My mother will be moving in to All-In-One Personal Care Home in September. It's pretty much a house that will only has three residents right now. It's very homey and I think my mother will really enjoy being there. Ms. Bea seems very hands on, very caring, and very involved with her residents, especially when it comes to their care. I'm really looking forward to working with her. Her home is immaculate, extremely clean, smells good, is handicap friendly, and the rooms are very open. She's done an excellent job at renovating her home. She is definitely willing to work with my mother's diet. They go on shopping trips and day trips. She has a beautiful backyard, an enclosed glass sunroom for the residents to just sit in, and a den where they can sit and watch TV. They also have televisions in their rooms and she has an open living room as well."

"We chose The Holbrook Decatur for my father, but because of the current situation it's still closed. The staff is very professional and it's a nice place to live. The people who work there interacts, even when my sister and I just went there to walk around, the people we met were very nice and very happy to be there. I watched the staff talk to the residents and they know them well; it's a good feeling. They have aerobics class and people who work there would join in too, which is nice. We saw a beautiful pool for water aerobics which was easy to get into. There's also a pool where you get lowered into a pool and you walk into a treadmill, and we saw people there with one helper assisting each person there. My father's room is about 600 square feet with a nice size living room, nice size bathroom, and the kitchen is a little small but he's not going to be cooking there. His little kitchen has everything but a stove, and you can bring a microwave to cook on if you want to. But three meals are included, there's also a bistro, and you can get a snack any time you want to. You can just walk into the shower, you don't have to step up into anything, there's plenty of storage in the shower and there's also a bench. It met the chef, the food sounds very good because the people were complimentary."
